I understand pregnancy can be the most miserable time of your life but I don't understand why some mothers are trying to self induce before their baby is truly ready to join this world... here I am 33 weeks and I'm STRUGGLING to carry my baby just a few weeks more. My heart is breaking at the possibility of meeting him way too soon. If you're reading this and considering trying to induce yourself, please don't... baby still has SO much more development to do.
@j.echo, @mrscarter27 @kimberlyyyy @hernandezmommy @cutieanimal Yesterday my issues had formed to real labor, i went to my dr and was checked. i was dilated to a 1 and 60% effaced, sent to OB to be monitored and everything... within an hour i was checked again and i was a 2 and 90% effaced. I was put on the mag drip to stop contractions. I also have a 10 mth old that is here at home. i had a massive anxiety attack in the hospital, i couldn't stay. :'( After the meds, contractions had stopped and there was no progression. I'm on strict bed rest.
Amen. Honestly, after being monitored twice in 24 hours for early contractions, it bothers me so much to see moms at 33 or 34 weeks trying to induce labor.
agreed. :/ I use to say I wanted my baby out during my whole pregnancy cause I wanted to hold him and then I felt like the guiltiest worlds worst mother when my son was born prematurely at 34 weeks. I'm having my second baby now and I'm high risk for preterm labor and I get so jealous when moms are 30+ weeks saying they can't wait to not be pregnant anymore and take this baby out cause they can't do it anymore when I just wish I could make it their .. many don't realise the milestone they mark by making it to full term its taking for granted now
honestly I'm on your side. i know someone who had her first early and she got lucky that the baby was healthy and fine. but just because that happened she became a queen know it all and tried to self induce early because she"knew" baby would be perfectly healthy. .. like seriously. why would you risk your baby being sick in the hospital because of yiu being impatient. you have to be a mother now and do what's best for the baby not for you
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Please help!
My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
It's my turn ladies!
Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
I am 28 weeks and my son is already 3 pounds. I am inducing myself at 37 weeks.
btw, i do have a 34 wker myself and am thankful only 2 weeks in NICU was all she needed
