So I'm left pumping my milk until I can actually breastfeed my 1 wk old son, but since we don't have adequate freezer space I have to put it in the fridge which means it's good for 5 days. He was discharged from the hospital yesterday and got told formula only until Dr appt next week. Guess that means 11 mth old brother gets the bounty until then.

you do realize that there are different types of formula, right? especially for premature babies. Right now I'm trying to make sure he gains weight per Dr orders so my son doesn't go back to the hospital. they've trotted giving him my by breast milk and he wasn't gaining. @jadestarlight
That is true pumping and it going to the trash would be so sad
I've asked all the questions possible, I'm doing as his doctor ordered. @chavalava At least I'm not pumping and going to waste.
Ask if there is stuff you can mix into your milk cuz it has good stuff for your baby

Why cant your baby bottle feed the milk you have? Why only formula? Stick it through though, and good luck!

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I wasn't questioning you for following your doctors orders. you have to do what you feel is right is for your child.
