What's going on with me? Sore throat, pink eye, ear infection?

Guess what guys you'll never believe it!! I still have a sore throat 15 days going strong lol. And I also just started getting pink eye Saturday night, good thing I have drops here so I started using those. Also my ears hurt so I think I'm getting an ear infection too. Never had a sore throat this long in my entire 44 years of life I'm telling you they've only lasted two or three days tops. I was told by a doctor almost 2 weeks ago that it's just a bad cold so I've never seen anyone or met anyone in my entire life who has had a sore throat this long that's super painful like swallowing razor blades, having a horrible time eating or drinking anything.

Pray for me or whatever you do lol

Did you get checked for a throat infection? About 6 years ago, I had the most painful throat infection, I couldn’t swallow and I had to take ibuprofen around the clock just to survive. I barely lasted 4 days before I went to the doctor because it was so painful.

@2sweetie yeah so I went to the doctor today and he just said I have a bad throat infection and I have conjunctivitis in both my eyes.Gave Me giant horse pills of amoxicillin

@ladyfreyja, oh I don’t know, that was the first and only time I’ve ever had an antibiotic shot. Maybe because it’s faster? I didn’t even know it was a thing until they gave it to me. It wasn’t a regular sore throat, it was a very obvious infection. I couldn’t even eat. I’ve never had tonsillitis or anything else with my tongue so I’m not sure what that could be.

@2sweetie damn what is it with everyone getting antibiotic shots for a sore throat I've never heard of that before, can't you just take oral antibiotics? Almost 2 weeks ago I had the white patches on my tonsils, basically that's called tonsillitis, but that went away within like 5 days . But my throat still hurts and you can't see anything when you look back there now it's more towards the middle down near my tongue it hurts bad. Feels like when you have a really bad bruise or a sprain somewhere like when anytime I move my tongue it even hurts.

@ladyfreyja, mine wasn’t strep. It was just a throat infection that was going around. The doctor looked inside my throat and said he saw pus on both sides. He gave me an antibiotic shot in my butt cheek and it cleared up pretty quickly.

Just got checked for strep. They even did it twice. How do they check for that? Was there a name for what it was?

That was me after Mother’s Day lol lasted 3 weeks my husband was like

2 weeks. My oldest poor kid has a sore throat that comes and goes.

Meee I had a sore throat for what seemed like forever. I went 2 or 3 times to get tested for strep and they kept telling me it was viral. I'm not saying don't go back to get tested but just saying it is possible. 😔

I'm definitely going back to a doctor when I have time cuz this is just not stupid my entire life I've never been in so much pain for so long from a sore throat

@ladyfreyja I hope you feel better and get answers. I had to really watch what I ate because some foods would make it worse. Italian ice was my BF! 😂

Definitely get checked out again, a second opinion of some kind. That's a huge amount of discomfort for way too long, it should be improving after that long.

Yeah I might go to a different urgent care than the last one I was at, he barely even looked me over. Just felt my lymph nodes look in my throat and listen to my breathing.

I’d go back to the dr to retest for everything. It’s not fun if you wait and have to get that peanut butter shot or taking antibiotic when it feels like you’re swallowing glass.

I know you tested negative for a bunch of stuff but maybe you should get swabbed again? That seems like a long time especially for that level of pain.

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights
