When do periods usually start?
How old were you all when you started your periods?
I was 15, and the last of all my friends.
My daughters doctor told me 8-10 is normal to start puberty, and that many kids are even starting their periods younger than years ago.

I was 10. I'm totally dreading it because my sweet baby girl is on par to get it by then too her doctor said. I'm so sad for her.
I was 12, my daughter has started having irregular periods at 10. It hasn't become regular yet but it's definitely gearing up.
Oh god love her!! I wish she had gotten just a little longer without that dreaded thing!!
I was 12. I saw a cute idea where a mom puts a discreet little care package in her daughter’s bookbag with pads, extra undies, etc so that she’s prepared if she gets it in school for the first time.

The last ones out of my friends. I have a 10 year old son and the puberty stage is hitting as well 😭 hair, BO, black heads pooping up on the nose. I started researching and there is stages of puberty up until 17 years old it was pretty informative to read because I had no idea it’s a long process.

I was 11 or 12 my daughter is 9 and started a few months back.
I was 13, and definitely not ready. I would have freaked even more than I did if I started even earlier.

my daughter is starting to get hair (down there) so i made an appointment just to cross all my T’s. Doctor said that 8-10 is normal for hair to start popping up. 😬
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

12, almost 13. It was the summer before 8th grade. I’m definitely planning to have the talk with my daughter pretty soon. She’s 8 but hasn’t shown any signs of puberty yet. But I don’t want her hearing things from her friends. They’re already talking about crushes (2nd grade). I’m not ready! 😭
