Sooooooo we were able to pick him up right before I picked my daughter up from school yesterday & her reaction was priceless!! I have a few questions for you cat lovers… do you let them roam around yourhome at night as kittens while you’re asleep or are they put in a separate room/crate? Also is it normal for him to kinda force himself on me so I can pet him but he also digs is nails into me as I’m petting him lol.. so idk if I’m doing this wrong or what 😂
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

What would you do? I feel so stupidly selfish if I choose to be induced because I want my boy to come when he is ready, but I am also feeling selfish stressing him out because everything going on and how stressed I am. So do I continue to stress him out or do I get induced and deal with this and let him be? Or will he be okay? I've been up all night contracting on and off but could it be from my nerves?

And do you have any other pets? That would depend on if you let little one wander the house at night. I always have. But my youngest 2 cats both somehow always slept through the night, so it wasnt an issue. One always slept right between mine and my husband’s pillows on the bed all night, and the other slept all night on a jacket on top of a short shelf. 🤷🏻♀️ Though my third oldest cat - he was an entirely different story. He would run through the house and swing on the curtains all night long. 🤣 It just depends on the cat.
Anyways, I would try to find a cozy spot, like a soft blanket or a cat bed for the baby to sleep on in your room for the first few nights until he adjusts, unless you have a big dog or something that you worry about getting to him, then I would put him in a kennel at night at first.

so he kept trying to get into my youngest daughter’s crib(her crib is right next to our bed) which scared her so I ended up putting him in his crate & he slept great but I want to let him roam around & cuddle with us in bed at night so idk what to do.

He's so freaking cute!! You're hitting the right spots rubbing him. 😂 for a few nights I crated my girl at night with a litter box, bed, and food and water bowls. I was scared she'd try to get into something or try to chew cords only because she was an outside cat before we brought her in.

When we get a kitten, my standard process is they share a room with a human for a few weeks and that’s the only room they’re allowed in. I block off all the small areas I don’t want it to go into or under just for safety when I can’t be in the room all day. We always have other pets so this is how we allow all the animals to get used to each others scent but keep them separated and safe. Since this is your only pet, I would keep him in a bedroom with an adult at night for a bit. How many weeks old?

Yup that’s totally normal, that’s what cats do! That means he likes you and wants you to pet him. The nail thing he is doing is called “kneading”.

He loves you! I’ve never crated kittens they always sleep at night mostly anyways. They need access to litter box at all times. If there’s an issue with crying at night, get a small stuffed animal for him to cuddle with
