You let him come on his own. Getting induced bc your stressed is silly.

I was induced at 39 weeks because I have a history of having big babies and my daughter was measuring big. My doctor wanted me to have her as soon as I was full term. I really wanted to let her come on her own but I kept getting this feeling like I should just go ahead and be induced. She ended up being born face up and got stuck for a minute before she just popped out lol. Had she been any bigger she probably would have gotten severally stuck. So in the long run I actually was really thankful I was induced. I'd just talk it over with your doctor and weigh the pros and cons.

I've had 3 inductions. My first I was 42 weeks and nothing was happening, no dilation, no thinning, nothing. That labor took 11.5 hrs. The 2nd I was 38 weeks, dilated to a 5 with bulging water and lived over 45 minutes from the hospital. He broke my water before pitocin was added. This labor was 2.5 hrs start to finish. The third was 4 days shy of 40 weeks. I was under a lot of stress so we induced early. That labor was 2 hrs start to finish. We'll see what happens with this baby, but seeing as how my labors have been getting faster each time and I live over 45 minutes away again we may induce with this one too. Good luck momma!

If stress is a huge concern to you, baby can feel that to. Your full term, you can ask to be induced! And he might come before that! My daughter came the day before I was supposed to be induced.

Yur full term i would do induction

I would take the induction mama... The reason I was induced with my first son was bc of stress. The Dr believed he was safer on the outside at that point (I was 38 weeks) and it was true. When we're stressed out babies definitely feel that unfortunately. I know you want him to come.on his own but if you were contracting all night, he's probably ready. No matter what your decision is, it's the right one. Your his mom and your going to chose what's best for him and you. You're not being selfish at all ❤️❤️

It’s only selfish to ask for an induction early. You’re full term. I’d ask for 1. It’ll help take your mind off the bs you’ve been dealing with once that baby is in your arms. Hugs mama

I was partially induced with my first and scheduled induction with my 2nd. My first my water was leaking so they did give me pitocin to speed labor along. He was 4 days late. With my 2nd I was 41 weeks. I had some problems 2 weeks before induction so my ob wanted to schedule. My induction with my 2nd was so easy!! Labor and delivery was a breeze. I understand wanting to have him come on his own and like pp said u still have some time. Try not to stress about it too much. Either way the baby will be here soon! Good luck

I was induced with my daughter and I will be induced with my son as well. It medically necessary for me because I was having contractions and I had been dilated 2 CM and 60% thinned out for two weeks but had steady contractions but nothing was happening and it was stressing not on the baby out but my body as well. Being induced really isn’t that bad but it does take some time. I went in Feb 25, 2016 at 5 PM was checked into my room by 6:30 and had cervidil by 7 PM.. still having those consistent contractions well 12 hours later at 7 AM my water broke and things sped up from there.. it was a crap show at that point however it was due to the nurses. If you doctor feels it’s necessary as mine did then do not feel selfish! Pregnancy is hard and some pregnancys are harder than others and people forget that. ❤️

I think stress can prevent labour from happening xx
