Anyone get their wisdom teeth extracted and was prescribed triazolam ? Anyone specifically breastfeeding !? My son is 18 months .
Trying to figure out if I need to pump and dumb and for how long or if I even have too. I don't wanna waste milk. I'm only nursing during naps & bedtime.

I already Googled everything. Was curious to see others input on it and what they was told about it and how they felt and their overall experience .
Yes my dentist knows I breastfeed my son, I was just never informed on anything afterwards. 🤷♀️

If he's aware you're breastfeeding, he surely wouldn't have prescribed a medication that wasn't safe. Goodness, I HOPE they take those things into consideration.
The main thing is to watch for him being more sleepy than usual.
The few times I took the pain meds after bringin my kiddo home, I tried to time with his feeding schedule. Like take it RIGHT when he was fussing to eat or RIGHT when he started eating. It won't have time to break down and be in your system even by the time he done eating. By the time he's hungry again in a few hours, it's diminished GREATLY in your system and be fairly harmless to him.

Even IF you still feel weird and want to pump, DON'T pump and dump! Pump but divide! Spilt it in half or even quarters of ya want and mix it with some you have stashed to dilute it down. NEVA EVA waste the good stuff girl!

@leonardsquared that's why I wanted to ask others who's taken it and breastfeed. I don't want to dump it, unless I really have too. Other than that I took Oxycon for my c sections and it didn't really effect my kids while nursing . And I've taken vikes also for my kidney stones and nothing. And I didn't have to dump or pump. I was just told to do it right as I take the meds but not 1 or 2 hours after because that will be the highest dose . Was just trying to see if there was some way around it . Where it was time feeding and when's the hardest it would hit my system. The most those pain meds did was make him a little sleepy but nothing that I needed to worry about. Everything online says different things so I like to ask other mothers who nurse if they've went through it or have taken the drug for sleeping or a procedure. I've watched videos , Google it and even asked the pharmacy people. Just looking for insight on others who've taken it. I'm I'm going to call his pedi Monday to make sure and get their advice too. I trust that they made a good decision knowing that I breastfeed, but there is a slight chance they forgot. And before the 30th comes I'd like to know .
