The boys school has a 'caught doing good' board. When a student is caught doing something good they are given a paper apple that they sign and get to stick on the board in the hallway.
I personally LOVE this! They just did an update and during the first month of school there are 285 apples on the board.

Well it’s official we are doing remote learning in the fall. The school board voted and went along with what the superintendent wanted. I can’t even say I’m upset or mad about it cause I do think it was the right decision and we had a bit of a warning that this was how it was going to go. Even though I’m in a good position, a sahm, and very fortunate I can still say it sucks lol. What about your kids school?
Let’s talk PTO and who’s involved with their kids school. I get A LOT of mixed reviews about being on the PTO so let’s hear your thoughts; why did you join or why won’t you? If you have served or currently do let’s see those back to school PTO boards for enrollment. Do you have a must have planner? Are you in any PTO group??
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
