So my period symptoms this cycle have been so different and the worst they have ever been. I’m curious if anyone has had the issues I am and found out later it was something else such as pcos or endometriosis or something else because I feel like death. This cycle started good. No pain before period starting. No sore boobs. Nothing. It started. Has been much much heavier than normal. I then noticed I am very bloated this time. I get some bloating normally but even my husband noticed how big my belly has bloated. Then today I have had such bad cramps it caused diarrhea and it was the worst pain I have had in a very long time. I would compare it to contractions with labor. It made me fold over in pain. I started sweating and wasn’t sure if I had to puke or poop. I also got light headed. It was like this for over an hour and it has lessened but I still have a decent amount of pain. I have had bad cramps but man this was abnormal and awful. Any advice would help.

I haven’t gone this year but my regular provider has done my pap and things have been good. I plan on talking with her or at least noting this month because it was so bad. I have considered ablation or a hysterectomy since having my tubes tied because I typically get severe cramping when I should be ovulating. To the point I went in because I thought I was having a tubal pregnancy. So something is going on but it’s all over the place with when it happens. And so far nothing has been seen.
@tiera_shaye, what type of tubal did you get? That might have something to do with your pain if the pain started right around the same time? I hope you find relief!
@momgroupreject, they cut a decent section out but I don’t know if they cauterized them or sutured or what after. I just know they sent off the sections they cut out to the lab . I know I don’t have the clips though haha.
Is there a chance you are pregnant? I'm NOT tryin to scare you at all girl, but your description sounds EXACTLY how I felt when I had my miscarriage. The pain was so intense, they are actual contractions, that I was nauseous and eventually threw up. The cramping, pain, sweating and all that lasted for about a day off and on. Then I bled for like a week after.
I shouldn’t be. I have my tubes tied. But it’s crazy my belly is so bloated and round my husband was like jeez if I didn’t know better I would say that is a pregnant belly. This has been the worst period o have ever had. It’s crazy. The bloating hasn’t gone down either. I may take a test to ease my mind because this is all so abnormal. And even if it was a miscarriage I would assume I may be able to pick up hcg still. But what scares me is the cramps literally felt like birth. I had pressure and was so sick. So it has me wondering.
Not trying to scare your or add doubt to you but could it possibly be a miscarriage?
The chances would be low. I have my tubes tied but interesting theory. I have had more clots. And it’s just all around different. I will have to keep an eye on my symptoms more in case things get worse.
I have endo and my periods are like this, when I do have them. Sometimes I’ll go months without bleeding but still get the very intense cramping. Have you had a gyno visit this year? It might help to make an appt.
I do heat and Tylenol/Motrin. At this point I’m only having periods maybe every 3 months but it’s still painful when I don’t. Unfortunately the resolution is some type of hormone therapy or a hysterectomy if you’re eligible/done having kids.
