Hey stupid question but how often do you guys change out your shower curtain liner?? I have to do it like every couple months. I know some people throw them in the wash or clean them off themselves but with three kids and working full time I never have time to clean one. I just feel like it's a waste throwing it away all the time. And I keep trying to get my husband to close the shower curtains when he's done so it dries better but he still doesn't do it

I wash the material one once a week and get a new plastic liner every 2 weeks. Afterwards I put it in recycling since it's plastic ♻️

I don't think we can put that in our recycling I have a whole list of what you can and cannot put and I know that's not on the list

Yeah I have the material one on the outside but that liner just gets so nasty after like a month or so

Cleaning weekly helps extend it.

yeah I wish I had time to do that. I tried cleaning it in the tub while it was hanging and it's so hard to do and I don't have time with three little kids running around. Do you throw yours in the washer like scrub it while it's hanging up is my question?

Every other month, as needed. Same with tooth brush (maybe every 3).

I just replace all our toothbrushes every 3 months

I get the fabric curtain liner and just put it in the wash. It's a lot easier than the plastic ones that require you to scrub so much to get it clean.

@ladyfreyja nope! It's life changing. I clean the tub regularly so I don't experience any black mildew. Just throw it in the wash every couple weeks and you're good to go!

My shower doesn’t need one since it has the doors buuuuut my mom does wash hers in the washing machine with vinegar bleach and soap (I think that’s what she uses I can double check for you) and she washes it in a gentle cycle and just air drys it game changer
