Does all your kids names match in a way? Same theme? Letters? Meanings? Do they all flow together? I love unisex names and Ryan, Devin or Dylan for a girl has always been on my list. I didn’t name my second baby Devyn like I wanted because I felt it didn’t look right next to my oldest girls name which is Madelynn. I don’t think I have a theme really going on other than the fact that both my girls have two middle names and they also have really girly and feminine names so I think naming this baby a unisex name wouldn’t look good with their names. Maybe I’m a weirdo and over think everything but what do y’all think?? 😭
For reference my girls names are Madelynn and Amina
The 3rd letter in their first names are i. I have Eli, Ari, and Ali (all nicknames from their actual names.) The girls both have my middle name and Eli has his dad's middle name.

I LOVE unisex names. Go for it (i love Ryan, Jordyn, Devyn, Skylar, Quinn) All my kids names start with a K and have 6 letters lol
I love your kids names! And your sons name is pretty unique
Kingsley Joseph
Finnigan James
Both first names are surnames, their middle names are family names. And all of us have the same amount of syllables in our names. Bonus - both kids have names tied to Harry Potter 😂
Our boys all have double middle names. It wasn't really intentional. My step son had two middle names. Then my husband wanted 'Willie' for a middle name for our first as it was his grandfather's name, I honestly couldnt stand the name Willie but we agreed that we'd do Willie if he has a second middle name after My grandfather. And at that point when we had Levi we said he couldn't go without two middle names 🤣
I just think two middle names look better. I mean even though he it’s super long I like the look of two middle names. Lol both my kids have two also
My kids names don’t have a theme but their middle names are family names. My daughter has the same middle name as me.
Not at all. They are the complete opposite 🙊
Mine do and the new baby will. They’re all JWD(first middle last) I took after my mother in law
Idk if my kids names match necessarily but they start with E or L. At first we joked that we should do E names for all our kids but then my in laws ruined it by doing the same. So we threw some L's in there. 😂 I have Elaina (Lainey for nickname), Elliot, Lennon, Everleigh, and Lakelyn.
Can I just say how much I love the name Lakelyn. I love all your kids names
Both of my kids are named after family members from both sides of our families and they’re both unisex names.
My first 3 all have C middles names, not on purpose, they are family names. I guess they have the same style but that's cause I pretty much pick their names and like em.😄
I like "old" names I always made sure they flowed well.
Chloe
Michael
Myles
Mason
I do think though, since your girl names are girly, people may assume if you use an unisex name that shes a boy. You know? But i mean who cares. Lol
I loooooove Myles. I would have used it if it went with our last name.
@leahh awe!!! Dh picked our oldest sons name because hes got the family first name and then I got to pick the first of our second sons name, I picked Miles, but then I find our DHS dads half brothers have it spelled that was as last names, so I spelled it with the Y. 🙃
If you had another girl would you pick something with a C? I love all of these names especially Myles
Both our daughters names start with an A and either their first or middle name has "Lee" in it which is my Dad's middle name.
My 1st 2 are Jayden & Katelyn. Then I named my last child Brianna bc I have always loved that name. It doesn't really go together with the other 2 but I don't care. I say just pic the name you love. Personally I like girly names for a girl.
My sister and I both begin with A....I plan to follow a theme for my kiddos. I like vintage and classic names that also have nicknames. My kiddos name is Cordelia but we call her Cora for short.
I love Cordelia omg. That’s such a classic beautiful name.
My kids names match but it wasn’t on purpose. My sisters names and mine don’t. I don’t think names have to flow or match. Give them whatever name you like.
I love jaresiah. So different
@alicianoelle32, thanks girl I loved it too because it was unique never heard of anyone with that name !
Emerson? Girl or boy name?
My husband and I love the name Emerson for our son. But after I looked it up I saw that is really popular in the US as a girls name. What do you think?
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
So I'm thinking of baby girl names , because I pray that baby number two is a girl 👑
My son's name is Eli & I would like for her to have an "E" name like my son.
So far I have three I like
Elle
Eva
Eliza
Short, simple and unique 😍 Any more you ladies can think of besides Elizabeth lol ?
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name
Anyone that like boys names for girls I wanna hear your feedback. My husband and I have a name picked out for our second daughter. If celebrities can do it then why can't we? In my opinion this name is better than James, Wyatt or Lincoln. I know I can't screen out the 'I hate that name, think of how much she will be bullied' comments but wish I could. We already have a Kamden and my husband really likes Kooper. For the longest time he wanted Kamden to be Jimi but we stayed with the K names since...
