Do you think it’s wrong to keep a child from their father if he only comes around when it’s convenient to him? My cousin’s daughters father shows up every couple of months with a toy and sticks around for 1-4 days and disappears again. Should she let him see her whenever he wants or should she just keep him away all together?
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
I feel so bad for my baby boy he did not want to go with his father tonight clung on to my mom and cried as soon as father picked him up and then his father did nothing to console him. He didn’t hug, kiss, pat nothing. No love what so ever ( like usual) I feel so guilty, like that breaks my heart my mom was crying when she told me cause she said it was awful and his father was so cold like he always is toward him and she felt so bad to send him off where he didn’t want to go 💔😥 but it’s like what kind of message is my two year old trying to tell us... like that’s not a good sign and my son is not like that ever with anyone.
My girls father is supposed to have my kids today until 8pm. (It’s what we agreed on in our court order) well, he just text me and said “if you get the girls when u get off at 4 I’ll give u $100.” He already owes me $150. Should I get my girls and take his money? Or should I let him figure it out since it’s clear he has plans he wants to do?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
i am being induced on Wednesday, my son's father isn't around or been involved THE WHOLE NINE MONTHS but should I tell him about the induce day or keep going about my business!!!!! opinions welcomed!!!!!!!!!

Idk. I'm so back and forth on that. Kids need stability but you also don't want to keep them away from a parent and them resent you for it when they're older.

Keep him away. The last time my girls saw their dad was august of 2020 and sent money September of that year. He hasn’t asked for them or sent any money since.
My girls don’t ask for him either so I don’t talk about him.

Yes it’s wrong. Financial issues between adults and a child seeing their other parent are 2 very separate issues.

It is a situational issue. It is ALL about the child’s well being. If it is damaging the child emotionally then it might be time to say no more or step up.
We shouldn’t take our issues out on the kids, ever. We must make the best decision for the sake of our kids. There’s a huge difference in those two situations.
