Ok I hope I can word this right. My husband is a fairly good sized man and even though we’ve been together almost 18 years no matter how wet I get it still kind of hurts when we have sex. It almost feels as if I’m ripping. There are also times if he’s positioned just right it feels like he’s poking organs inside of me even though I know he’s not. We were doing the deed last night and went through all that like normal but after we were done I instantly started cramping where it felt like he was poking me at. I’ve never felt this before and it was so awkward and painful. I had a hard time sleeping and I’m still in some pain. It’s really starting to worry me. I’ve never had this happen before.

Maybe it’s just too rough? I know certain positions I have to tell him to slow down or I hurt afterwards. Your cervix could be sensitive for a lot of reasons.

I did have to tell him to slow down. I’ve just never had the lingering pain like this before. It still hurts like really bad cramping.

This is something worth spending to your OB about. It could be a matter of your vaginal length and his combined being an "odd fit" and that you have to simply learn new ways to take care of those intimate needs or you could have an actual condition called vaginismus and they, not kidding, have therapy for it... Sorry that the intimacy you share hurts you and I hope after all this time that you will get answers and solutions. I have times when it is uncomfortable but what you described is more. When it feels like he's poking you, is your cervix down low? Our cervixes change position during the month. Hope that gives you something useful to look into. Best of wishes!

I’ve often wondered that but it doesn’t seem to matter when it happens. It actually feels the best when I’m on my period. So maybe it does have something to do with it. I just don’t know and it’s kinda freaking me out. I will look that vaginismus up and see what it says and I supposed I should speak to the OB. Just don’t know how to exactly word my issue.

Word it exactly as you did here. On your period your cervix is low and soft. During other times it is more firm and high which would make sense why his size would cause a poking feeling. He probably is poking you. And you could have your vaginal canal measured also to kind of gauge. In most case a man is not big enough to go the full length of a woman's canal but there are exceptions. Also, you're getting older and things start to shift, especially after multiple children. Best to be seen and just tell them when you make the appointment you need a long appointment bc there are many details to go over, plus the need for a physical exam.

I get like this when my husband is too rough, I'll have cramps that last until the next day. It sucks really bad. I've only had it happen a few times though.

oh I see, humm, well definitely speak with your doctor hun. I know recently I've started getting cramps when I get turned on, which is a buss kill like no other, but I hear it could be a normal change.

I get like this during parts of my cycle when my cervix is low it hurts and gets all crampy and shit somtimes it hurts to walk.

I have endometriosis and sex can get pretty painful, no matter how lubed up I am. I also think it’s worth discussing with your doctor. Pelvic inflammation can also cause painful sex and you’d never know you have it unless you visit a doctor.

This happens to me. Just a couple days ago when we were doing doggy it felt like he was going way too deep into my organs. I immediately started cramping.
