I experienced that with my second born. By the 12th week, it tapered off, but it wasn't constant the whole way through, so I possibly had a period around the 9th-10th week. That might be your current situation.

@becijayne944 that doesnt sound very normal, especially if it comes with cramps. Have you considered consulting another doctor for a second opinion? A friend of mine had constant bleeding after giving birth (this was nearly 15 years ago) and it turned out that she had a piece of placenta still in her body.
I'm not saying that's your situation, but follow your instincts on this.
@deborahjq I've been to doctors today about it and apparently it's normal I personally dont think it's normal. It's got me on edge as I was due my 6month smear after having precancerous cells and some of my cervix removed so I could really do with my smear as it's due but cant becausenim still bleeding but I dont no who else to turn to as doctors are saying this is normal! @becijayne944 if I were in your position, I think I would go to the hospital and ask for ultrasounds or whatever necessary to find out what's going on. Yeah, it seems drastic, but bleeding PLUS cramping for 11 weeks postpartum doesnt seem normal to me.
I hope everything works out for you, most of all, I hope the bleeding stops! You poor dear 💖
