Did anyone suffer or worry about gender disappointment?

Thank-you, yeah I'm hoping that any disappointment won't last for long if I do feel any! My mother in law has 3 boys and she says she would have loved a girl but couldn't imagine it any other way now and she's really close to all three of them, they'd do anything for her in a heartbeat. I'm hoping if it is another boy that Kylan will still have that common interest despite the 5 Year age gap x

@kerryy23 that was the main reason why I said yes to finding out because with my first after having him I had really bad baby blues it wasn't until I had my second I really realised how bad I was back then although it didn't last long but it was bad! I thought i might of been like that again with my second so the minute she asked me i changed my mind my OH was like I thought ye said ye didn't wana know😂 I was like tell me tell me I'm not joking my smile was from ear to ear holding the baby scan walking out of the hospital I know we're all different and I really do hope get your girl but if you don't either way your giving your first born baby the best gift in life ❤️ As for kylan he is going to love this little baba no matter what gender and so will you if it is another boy youll honestly love it wether there is a gap between boys are boys. My mother in law also has 3 boys and they are the closest ever I always say to myself I'd love for my 2 to be like this like they r grown men but together they act stupid and it's nice to see knowing I've got 2 little boys. I'd love another one but my OH says nope no more 😂

Yours are going to be quite close in age though. There's gonna be nearly 5 years to the day between mine (I'm due 4 days before Kylans Birthday 😂). I just feel like I'm majorly over thinking it, I feel so blessed to be having a healthy baby. I'll just have to try and convince my OH for one more if this turns out to be another boy and go for the best of three 😂

@kerryy23 my partner and his brother are 5 years apart and they are so close have had each others backs through everything and they work together aswell my partner has a building company and his brother works with him. I look at their bond and think I'd actually love tommy to have that so I'm honestly not bothered what I have now. Also remember teenage boys are normally 1000% easier than girls I was an absolute nightmare for my parents. 😂😂 and it's going to be expensive month on birthdays for you! Yeah why not go for 3 if you have another boy 😂 xx

@kelsey234 aww thats given me some reassurance about having a bigger age gap if your partner and his brother are close.. I'll agree with the teenage boy thing, My partners son (16) lives with us and to be honest you don't even know he's here half the time 😂.. I'll have to decide after this one if I want anymore haha, my OH isn't getting any younger and already has a football team 🙈 xx

I think they are probably getting more adventurous with their girl clothing range but when I was pregnant with Maya

It was just pink for days and then a small section of white and a row of blue lol 😂

@beebeejgill haha, I've been looking at the unisex stuff but I find it tends to sway slightly more girly or boyish so I havnt bothered buying anything, just going to wait til I know 100%. If you were to have another do you think you'd prefer a boy?

@toni_mcentee I thought I felt something around 14 weeks. Then nothing for a while, they've become a lot more regular over the last week or so though, and I was able to feel it from the outside last night. I think you feel something sometimes and wonder was it, wasn't it 😂

I feel like I'm probably over thinking it myself and it won't make any difference when I'm told, I'm just worried I'll feel disconnected I think.

I did consider not finding out this time but I'm too impatient. I've been trying to convince myself its a boy. Looking at boy clothes in shops and avoiding the girls section 😂

@kerryy23 oh asif! Mine the same as you but opposite😂 with olivia I had abit of nausea at the start for a few weeks and that was it the pregnancy was an absolute breeze, this time I'm absolutely exhausted, headaches, backache, really bad shortness of breath, dry mouth and really thirsty all the time and I'm really congested which I didnt know was a symptom but it is😂it's so weird x

@abbyrose omg, constantly got a blocked nose for no reason yes! I actually googled it a few weeks ago as thought I was getting the cold but nothing else came of it 😂.. that doesn't help either of us out with gender guesses then haha 🙈

@kerryy23 I know, I didn't even know I was pregnant and I said to brad ugh I'm really congested and my nose was annoying me then a few days later I seen that as a symptom I was like omg it makes sense now😂
