anyone else dealing with a gender disappointment?

I think I will go through this if I find out I'm having another girl I already have 2 all I want is a boy just give me at least 1 lol

I went through this with my son. I always wanted a little girl since i was a little girl and when i heard it was a boy i was disappointed and felt horrible for being disappointed but ten years later i can honestly say i wouldn't hqve it any other way. He was the best thing that ever happened to me and i felt like i was given what i needed and not what i wanted. If i had to do it again i wouldn't change a thing. I think you will be fine once you see that beautiful bundle of joy ❤

Nooo don’t think negative about me, I’m not here for that I’m just trying to throw a solution out there because I was like that at the beginning and didn’t find out my babies gender until I was 4months. Because was gonna find out on L&D day

It's completely normal to feel like that. Don't make us feel bad for having natural emotions.

Ya shouldn’t feel like this, having a baby is a blessing if you think you’d deal with gender disappointment don’t find out the gender and wait till the big day when you push the baby out. The bond would be crazy 😜 no matter what!

@taylorg, I'm glad I'm not... I've been starting to feel bad for feeling this way. I literally had a breakdown last night in front of my SO because I really want a girl. 😂😅 haha I will definitely let you know when I find out tomorrow! 😬🤗

@malainaheka23, also, i saw on your post everyone commented saying they thought it was a boy...i posted something similar before my reveal and EVERYONE commented boy. not one person thought it was a girl. and they were all wrong. so don’t get disappointed yet, you could still get your girl!!

@taylorg, congratulations on your girl!!! Girls are so much fun! You're going to love being a girl mom! It's the opposite for me, everyone around me is having girls and here I am pretty positive that I missed the girl trend. I blame my SO because his mom had all boys. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I keep saying I'll be happy no matter what, which is true... I'm going to love my baby no matter what he or she is, but I have no doubt that I'll be disappointed for a while if it does turn out to be a boy. 😕

@malainaheka23, i totally know what you mean. i always pictured myself as a boy mom. never once did i imagine my life with a daughter. i always thought i would have like 3 boys. I wanted a boy SO bad...but she’s a girl! And i feel like everyone around me is having boys which is making the situation worse. I love her already and i’m not angry or sad. but i’m disappointed for sure :/

@taylorg, I'm hoping for a girl. I've always pictured myself as a girl mom. Not once in my life have I thought about having a boy... but I just have a really scary feeling that we're having a boy. 😕 and I told everyone not to be upset if I start crying if they reveal boy tomorrow. I'm more nervous than excited to be honest. I know nothing about boys. 😬 What were you hoping for?
