Sitting in urgent care, waiting to get my son checked for a possible concussion. An opposing hockey player took him down with a cheap shot and he hit his head on the ice. And they didn’t stop the play with a kid sprawled on the ice! I lost my shit completely, those damn refs. My poor baby! 😩😭

Ladies, thank you so much for your well wishes!!! 💜 My son doesn’t have a concussion, thank goodness! The doctor at urgent care did a lot of tests for gait, pupils, balance, tremors, etc. and was satisfied that he was okay. What a scary experience! Who knew 3rd graders could play so dang rough? He got back in time to have pizza with his teammates, so all is good🍕
I am so so so relieved! <3 What a scary moment, I am sure the world came to an absolute stop for you, mama.

Oh no! I hope he's ok girl, keep us posted. I'd be pissed too! Was he knocked all the way out? Or was he just kinda stunned and gathering himself? I mean, EITHER fucking way, play should've been stopped. I'm just tryin to gauge his level of injury.
I lost my shit screaming at the ref that there was a player down. My son never lost consciousness, but he was pretty dazed. He couldn’t tell coach the score, and had to really think about what day of the week it was. Eyes are fine, no nausea or vomiting, and he seems to be doing pretty good now. 🤞
