I’m at my wits end.
My child won’t eat.
I’ve cut his milk down (“don’t make milk so readily available.”) so he’s only getting it morning and night.
He legit won’t try anything. Pizzas, toast, fruit. Nothing. He screams and cries. I’m so over it all. His pediatrician is worthless (I’m trying to find a new one - she has 3 open cases of malpractice..) but nobody is taking new patients.
I’m ready to scream.

My son was like that cause he’s teething so I’ll start him off with Cheerios and slip in other things

Maybe it’s just a stage. My son has gone through so many since he started solids, and he has always been super picky. It could also be a texture thing. Just hang in there, and maybe eventually he will eat. The go to foods for Brayden were avocado and banana. He would scream and cry with everything else. I couldn’t even get him to try things or even put the food up to his mouth. He won’t even eat Mac n cheese and just started with pizza at 3 years old. I know it’s so frustrating. Ava is so easy. She eats nearly anything I put in front of her, and has been like that since she was 1.
Hopefully you can get in to see a good pediatrician soon and get some help. If you’re worried about nutrition, maybe try some vegetable and fruit smoothies? I had to get so creative. I tried making vegetable muffins, pancakes, etc.
Hang in there Mama! Just take a deep breath and keep trying!

Lynnies in this stage. I can get her to eat fruit sometimes and sometimes chicken nuggets, also she drank some of my milkshake earlier. I cut her milk down too, it's worrisome but I think it's a stage.

My son was like that. I took him to pediatrician and he said he’s probably not eating because it was the only thing he can control. He told me to offer it once and leave it on the table. It took me awhile, but eventually I learned to not give it too much worry. He’s 6 now, still starves himself sometimes. I’ve stopped caring so much as long as his weight is fine. Kids will never starve themselves. They will eat when they want.

Since your son is under 3 years old you can contact Early Intervention and get him an evaluation. You don't need a doctor's referral, you can contact them your self. If he qualifies a therapist can work with him.
My daughter received feeding therapy with an occupational therapist and it worked wonders for her.

My daughter has been like this since she was 18 months. I call it a “non-eating phase.” It drives me crazy but unfortunately it’s normal for her. She’s super thin but is growing. I just try to offer her a variety of foods and give her whatever she’ll eat. When she was a toddler I had to follow her around and feed her bites while she played 😩 Now I usually have to bribe her. Sometimes I leave her plate on the table in case she wants to come back to it but only occasionally she does. I wish I had the answer.

My 4 year old has been in eating therapy on and off for 2 years. It’s the most frustrating thing ever, especially since I was raised as a member of the clean your plate club. I’ve had to relearn a lot about how to get kids to eat. I’m linking you to some Facebook resources that might give some ideas to help with your little guy. Pediatric nutritionists and speech therapists who specialize in eating.
