Do you have to bring the proof of pregnancy to the ob ?

Never heard of having to take proof ... my doctors as well as everyone I know whose been pregnant would jst tell the ob they got a positive test at home and they would make us pee in a cup and do a pregnancy test for us to confirm and then take blood work tht same day

I had to have a paper for proof of pregnancy to see my dr all 3 times. I just went to a pregnancy center and got tested they would fill out a paper and sign it.

@mamaof2soon I didnt have a primary doctor or obgyn at the time . So I called the obgyn in my area and they said I needed proof before they could see me so I just went to a planned parenthood and they tested me gave me a paper and that's what the obgyn needed for me to become a patient and then of course they did all the same test there. I never understood why I needed it

So i had to have proof of pregnancy from like a planned parenthood or free pregnancy center why idk bcux once they saw kt they did all there own work anyways and it was a waist of my time

At most you need to say you’ve gotten a positive test, but they confirm everything there. I’d assume she’s faked pregnancies before and that’s why they want proof 🤷♀️

I didn't need "proof," I told the dr NY last period date and that I got a positive test, I actually showed up at week 8 though, and she just did an ultrasound.
