Im in the same position sick of my neighbours would try and get a new place but that's out the question for me so have to put up with this bullshit for another 4 years minimum
Yeah I feel like I'm probably gonna have to put up with it for a while longer as well... will appreciate the next place so much more though when the time comes !!
@em93bbourn I really would appreciate a house right now especially during lockdown my daughter can only really go on the balcony and go out when I can get out just feel like she's bored constantly and it isn't fair x
I was going to say the same as vixster.. We are currently doing the house up abit incase doesn't go to plan but we are looking to do a swap for a bigger place and something with a bigger garden for my son. X
Have you looked into private renting? Or even private renting via the council ( they can pass you onto landlords) xx
Yeah I will look more into it I thought private renting wont take housing benefit I'm not sure I'm going to make an afternoon of it and look properly sick of living here now lol xx
@em93bbourn, They will take it, usually need a guarantor, references :)
Council can also point you in the direction of landlords that accept benefits
Also look on open rent or dssmove xx
