And once you’ve figured out the correct position for wearing your mask, follow these tips to stay safe:

Always wash your hands before and after wearing a mask.

Use the ties or loops to put your mask on and pull it off.

Don’t touch the front of the mask when you take it off. <—— important.

For apartment dwellers, put the mask on and remove it while inside your home. Elevators and stairwells can be high-contamination areas.

Wash and dry your cloth mask daily and keep it in a clean, dry place.

Don’t have a false sense of security. And for the love of french fries, please stop touching your face/mask.

Stay safe🥰😘💪

I wear my mask all day at work. I cant wait to snatch that thing off when I get in the car lol

The kids and I haven't gotten out much.. my husband has been doing all the shopping and I asked him if he saw small kids and were most ppl wearing masks or not.. We saw someone wearing an eye mask on their face 🤦‍♀️ most ppl wearing them incorrectly or on their chin (I guess for fun!) Ppl font know how to wear them, im like they definitely pull it down to sneeze. 🥴

Very good post and helpful. With my hubby being a front line worker ( custodian) he has received training to help protect yourself against covid 19

@icebergahead exactly.so many people are misinformed and it's good to show them the safest way. I'm very thankful for the training he has received it's been slightly easier

@icebergahead exactly lol he has as Well having to clean homeless shelters sometimes it's so nasty. Majority the bathrooms you need something to protect you from the smell and all around gross things you find

I learned in school you can take like a tuppaware container, put it over your mask, and take your strings to the mask and pull it over the container that way you aren’t touching it at all and the mask can stay in the container. I haven’t been out since they called quarantine, and tomorrow I have to get surgery on my foot and I’m TERRIFIED to go out 😭

People always have to remember that the mask is not just for protecting yourself but vice versa. So you keep your germy germs to yourself and out of other peoples’🗣 air space lol. 👍

I recommend the tie back versus the elastics.

It fits snugg to the face and more comfortable than the elastic ones that go behind the ear.

Especially not when we have to hand out your items. 6 feet doesn't just apply to how close your face is to another person. If you cough, sneeze, or just breathe on a drive thru attendant you're still putting them at risk. We wear masks and gloves for your safety. But if you don't wear your mask through the drive through you're still putting US at risk. I've worked at a Tim Horton's through this entire pandemic and TWO of my regular customers wear a mask. TWO people out of the up to 140 cars I see a night wear a mask. Day shift also only sees only one or two customers with masks on through the drive thru. Why its not been made mandatory to wear your mask during drive thru interactions is beyond me. Its mandatory in store where you ARE 6 feet from the cashier. Wear your masks, its just a few minutes, and it helps protect you and other people. Don't be selfish and lazy. Its not that hard.

Dad responds back with No it’s okay you don’t have to wear a mask if people don’t like it then then they don’t need to come in and shop they can stay at home or they can do store pick up. Omg I rolled my eyes so bad like dude your ass can do that also if you don’t want to follow mandatory mask guidelines you douche bag. So annoying. And this is why I hate people lol.
