I finally got my prescription if sertraline/Zoloft and I’m so scared to take it.
The side effects terrify me!

I know I asked before but I need to reread things again to calm me down.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Anyone has got an IUD? What are some side effects?, I just got one today and I hope weight gain is not a side effect for me.
Birth control suggestions? Was on the pill before I was pregnant but I had to stop taking it because it gave me blood clots in my heart which is like the most serious side effect. Go figure.
Have any of you taken Sertraline/ Zoloft for their anxiety? My therapist wants me to try it out but I’m scared of the side effects.
I get the Mirena tomorrow and I'm kind of nervous hoping I don't get any serious side effects from it.😬

I was also afraid of taking it but I have PPD. The only side effects show up if I take it on an empty stomach or without enough water. I take it at bedtime and make sure I’m not hungry. Also drink with a good amount of water. I feel a lot more emotionally stable.

just what I already listed and perhaps my sex drive.. but it’s hard to know with that bc that was shot before I had my baby😂

I’ve been on it for over 6 years now and rarely see any side effects. Write a pros and cons list!! It helps to visualize it

Did you have any side effects when you first started? This’ll be the first time I take any sort of medication.

I just started it two weeks ago all I can say the first week it made me super tired but I can tell my body is starting to adjust but my anxiety and moods have been way better

that’s the only side effect I had minus I forgot to eat one day so I had stomach problems but I just eat something small and I’m fine now

I was just prescribed that on Tuesday by my doctor ! Right before she called me back in the room to tell me I’m pregnant

Oh yeah sex drive is shot but you’ll find that with all SSRI’s

I took it for about 10 months, maybe a year, for PPD. It helped immensely! I was on a low dose 50 mg. I took it after dinner in case it made me sleepy. No big side effects for me.
