I honestly hate hearing about the people who say their child was trained in 3 days. Like congrats your child is perfect, mine is not. I want the ugly stories where it took months to potty train and they had accidents every day

My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. Anybody body start potty training at 1? Like starting with once a day going the same time every day ? To get them on schedule ?? I was 🤔 maybe like before bed to put her on the potty , since I work early in the am and usually don’t have time . Edit: training a girl
How do you potty train a child who has absolutely no desire to be potty trained, and actively fights against it?

Does your baby father tell you what time to be home like have a curfew ? Because really I'm not a child and I'm not going out drinking or partying it was a child play day and unplanned so of course I didn't wash the dishes if I had known I would of cleaned in advance and cooked but seriously he took it too personal saying I'm in the street all day and it's the last time I do this really do I look ten years old to him ?

mine took months on and off. I literally had to resort to my parents doing it while I went on a girls trip. He would not do it for me no matter what method I tried.

My oldest took months. Then his brother was born and he regressed and we had to do it all over again. He was almost 4 by the time he was completely potty trained.

I tried a few months ago with my son. He’s a bit older than yours. I gave up after 3-4 days of 1 wee in the potty! I’m going to try again this coming week because he’s showing a bit more interest but if it doesn’t click then it doesn’t click.

My daughter will be 5 in August and she still isn't potty trained. She's delayed though, and will get it eventually so I'm not worried

My son still isn’t. He just won’t go on a regular basis and gets really annoyed when I ask every 30 minutes. Some days he does good and some he absolutely refuses.

Mine is 3 and doesnt want to sit on the potty. He can tell you he poop or pees and lately has been taking off his pull up when he goes pee and hands you a new one, or goes "I pooped, eww" but sitting on the potty is a whole other ordeal.

My son is 3 and has never peed on the potty. He will literally hand me a diaper and say “I pooped, change my diaper”. But he will scream and cry at even the thought of sitting on a potty. I’ve even tried naked training. Nothing has worked. I’m going to give it more time and hope he’s ready soon.

I eavesdropped on a lady in a store once as she was telling her friend through gritted teeth "he's almost 5 and I swear he's doing it on purpose" 😆 she was talking about potty training

My 1st was a bit hard. My 2nd a breeze decided himself he wanted to. The 3rd not even close he loves taking his diaper off and while peeing on the floor he will say I peed and we've had some poopy catastrophes a long the way lol

My oldest didnt potty train until he was 3 1/2. I started trying at 3 and he just refused. At 3 1/2 he peed his pants at daycare and I told them to not change him as I was 5 minutes away, that changed everything. He started using the bathroom thr next day. Now hes a month shy of 5 and I still cant get him to stop wetting his bed at nighttime.

My four year old still isn't potty fully trained. For a while she does great and then had regressions for months at a time. Every kid is different. Some are ready before others and others may have reasons behind it.
I haven't even started yet with my two year old. She hasn't seemed like she's ready.
