So I called a local tattoo shop to see pricing and availability. I want something not my wrist for my Grammy who passed away. It’s how she signed her cards “xoxo Grammy” the lady said hold on let me check availability. She didn’t put me on hold, so I could hear what she was saying. She explained to I’m assuming a tattoo artist what I was wanting. Her exact words “she wants her grandmothers signature on her wrist that says xoxo Grammy... I know eye roll right?” I then heard the guy in the background laugh. She gets back on the phone and says sorry just checking on something. I said “no thanks I’ll take my service elsewhere eye roll” also who says “eye roll” out loud 😂

Wow that’s so rude! Idc how common (not judging your tattoo idea at all) the idea for a piece is no one should ever say things like that about what a person wants! Good girl I wouldn’t have given them my business either. Leave a review on their website or some shyt that’s awful. It’s your body why would they care what you put on it you’re giving them a paycheck!

@tobyisthescrantonstrangler, I do too, I’ve tipped 100% on a piece before. I mean it was an $80 piece that only took an hour lol but still. That’s fucked I’m so sorry they were rude. But hey there’s tons of shops that are way nicer than those people- I’ve gotten work done at 7 different places and they’ve all been wonderful. I’m sure you just had a fluke with rude people.

Ugh that’s super rude! I’d def be telling them I heard what they said and maybe they should be more considerate of those who are willing to spend money at their shop. I’d def write a review too. I’m passive aggressive like that hahahahaha! I’m really sorry and u need to go to someone who respects what you’re doing for your grandmother.

Wow. What a bitch. I’m sorry that happened. Honestly, I find that a lot people who work in the tattoo industry have that judgy attitude about what others get for tattoos. It’s very off-putting.
