I’m 4 weeks and 4 days my last cycle was Jan 22 is it normal to get a positive on a first response test and get nothing on a $ store test? And is it normal to still get faint lines?

Hcg doubles every 48 to 72 hours, so I would wait a few days and retest to see if the line progresses
You should stick with the same brand of test with the same sensitivity so you're not confused as to why you have a faint line on one.. and nothing on the other.
Dollar store tests have a higher sensitivity than first response. First response early result picks up shortly after implantation at 6miu. Dollar store tests pick up at 25miu. So sounds to me like you may have ovulated later than you think in your cycle and are not as far along as you think you are.
according to my Dr you can get a false negative on a pregnancy test. when I was pregnant with my 2nd 2 test said false and the 3rd said positive so I did another one and it was another positive
