Breastfeeding Mommas I need help!
I am looking at going back to work as soon as possible we are currently looking at nursery's for osian and nevaeh but I exclusively breastfeed nevaeh. I don't want to stop but obviously I will have to express for her whilst I'm at work. My question is do any of you mom's work and still breastfeed and how do you do it?
I really don't understand the judgment between being a working mom or a stay at home mom. If you need to work, work. If not, don't. No need to degrade other women for doing the opposite of you. 🤷🏻 ♀ 🤷🏻 ♀
Mommas who breastfeed.. Do you pump as well or strictly breastfeed??

Racial nickname I sometimes call my lo monkey. To me he looks like a little monkey. My so says it's racist and offensive. What do you think?
SAHM do you feel guilty -I do ? Do you ever feel guilty that your so/dh go out work hard and you get to stay home?

I've seen many mums work and breastfeed.
You can start building a stash from now. Express whenever you can and alternate with breasts.
I managed to keep a big stash for emergencies for when i needed to leave my little one with a family member.
You can also pump at your work break and keep it in the staff room fridge.

I breastfed hamish for three months after returning to work he stopped on his own at 15months. My work has breastfeeding breaks that can also be used to express.
Build a supply now and freeze working doesn’t mean you have to stop breastfeeding at all. I fed before and after work and did use a break through the day but he wasn’t fussed when I got to the childminder so I stopped that quickly, then he dropped himself to only bedtime feeds and just stopped that too I was gutted but he was 15m xx

@kirikatrina, no but I returned to work when he was 1yo so wasn’t feeding loads and I did on occasions feel too full but I couldn’t express anything big first time round so my body quickly adjusted

I had a freezer full from six weeks with ailsa but stopped giving bottles after a shitty hospital stay and my milk being poured away and formula given instead, from then I just said no more bottles ever used the milk in their bath 😂

If you don’t have one get a Haakaa. Use it on the opposite boob that you’re feeding in and it catches anything you’re leaking. It’s amazing!

By law your place of work need to give you breaks to express, they also need to give you a room with a lockable door :) I never went back to work but my friend did when he little one was 7 months, he'll be 2 in February and she's still breastfeeding :)

I don’t think it is an actual law (if I remember from my training) I think it’s just all guidelines and recommendations for employers , I think it says the same on the NCT website too about returning to work xx

sorry, they aren't legally required to give you breaks to pump but they are required to ensure you don't feel discriminated against:) I've never heard of anyone having issues with their employer and breastfeeding in this country though xx
