So my 4 month old had a fever of 100.6 last night. Gave her Tylenol, took a bath with her and did some skin to skin and…

It was higher than 100.4 it was 100.6.... I was told anything above 100.4 I can give her Tylenol for and take her to the dr because of how little she is.

no I don’t have any thermometer that can do rectal. It’s for her ear. My mom has one I can use though

Her dr wouldn’t see her any time soon anyway(I hate that office so much) and I don’t want to take her anywhere else because I know it’ll just be gross in there 😩 I’m just so nervous because my sons fevers can go from normal to 104 in MINUTES and this is the first time she’s ever had a fever so idk what they will do...I’m just nervous.

Why keep an eye on her soft spot? And I am breastfeeding she’s been nursing a lot so I’m hoping it helps.

They don’t have one unless the office is closed and they’re open. I absolutely despise that place especially after yesterday. I’m watching her a lot I probably took her temperature last night like 6 times within an hour 😬 and all they will tell me is “give her Tylenol because she can’t have anything else....” like no sh*t ughhhh I’m so annoyed 😭😭😭 I just want her to feel better

oh man. do you have an emergency clinic (I think some people call them walk in clinics, different from an er) near by? You could get her checked out there if her temp won't stay down. It sounds like you're doing everything right but if it won't come down or she seems to get worse I'd take her in.
