My husband just called me materalistic because I want to get out daughter some gifts for Christmas. He got upset at me and said she didn’t need anything.
Like no shot she doesnt -need- anything but I still want to get her some tethers and little things. 😩
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
Diapers arent a gift for baby? My sister is coming down today to hang out with me and baby. She wanted to bring him some gifts. She got him an outfit, 2 toys, and a pair of shoes/booties. She said she wanted to get a little bit more and asked if there was anything else she could get as a gift for him and I said he can always use diapers. Her reply was that Diapers aren't a baby gift, they would be a gift for us and while she'll happily pick us up a pack she wants to get him something he needs and can use.
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

We got my baby girl a whole box of presents I couldn’t help it because she’s really also almost sitting up unassisted already too and if they don’t have a jumper too you can get them one but who cares what he thinks Christmas is for everyone and you could also do a stocking with plushies or toys or even photo with Santa and their own Christmas bulb to have when they get older and by 3 months they start playing anyways

She uses my son’s jumper and loves it. So glad I didn’t sell it or something! But I ended up just getting a tether and this water toy thing that looked interesting. Sadly I don’t think I will get them before Christmas but that is okay. May just have a late Christmas lol

My daughter will be 4 months the day after Xmas. We got her teething toys and rattles and binkies. And I got her a laugh and learn magic music mirror from Santa

I couldn’t imagine not getting one of my babies a Christmas gift. We didn’t do anything big, a lot of practical stuff and a few toys and clothes.

Yeah I got a few tethers and this water toy that I think you fill and they can poke around at the stuff inside. Seemed interesting. And a few clothes but that was more for me than ‘them’. 😂

It's her first Christmas, if you want to get her a couple gifts then get her some.
And tell him to shove it, the day he pushes a baby from his body or watching both the kiddos 24/7 a day is the day he can tell you what you can cant do.

Lol I love you for this comment. He had at least managed one kiddo by himself for like two days and I think he was at his breaking point. But I ended up getting her a few things and yeah he can bite me.
