Somebody shared this on their insta story and I'm honestly so confused as to why people believe this. Not one comment was made about how this is wrong. They were just like yes absolutely that's why we need to cope in healthy ways and let our children see us in happy relationships so they know how to blah blah. All of the bottom is scientifically learned traits and behaviors. That's literally why your child has to physically SEE you do these things bc they are learned, NOT inherited. Thoughts?

Don’t agree 💯 ! We are all our own person &spirit&soul ! We may learn behaviors we see and act upon them “under age 5 we all have basic needs that need to be met” no one in my family has my hazel green eyes or between my 2 older sisters and I we are all very different women & different career choices ,how we raise our children &how we treat people “some can be learned from environment but,doesn’t mean your a product of your environment

so I read a lot of comments and I guess what they MEAN is your behavior is that of your parents. You could be your own person. I just truly dont think they know what the word inherit means. Bc if that's the point they are trying to get across then it would make more sense to say, hey this isnt in your DNA, you were taught this and can change it.

me too. I like being in touch with your soul. Bc that can happen. You can connect with yourself and better yourself but there is almost always scientific facts behind this stuff. That's why I try to avoid conversations that are strictly about beliefs especially when I know facts about it. As bill nye says "science rules!"

It’s true to a certain degree. But it’s not set in stone ur life would be extremely hard or just like ur parents.
Most ppl try to live the opposite of what they had to go through as kids if they had a hard up bring

But still either way, that aspect of their life wasnt inherited. It was learned and you either go with it or choose to be the opposite but they werent born with it. Inherit means it was passed down to you through reproduction. Hardships as a child arent passed through blood.

That’s why I said to a certain degree. Somethings are inherited like alcoholism mental illness, depression ect, but u know ppl will make excuses for anything they can.

Its probably just bothering me more than it should. It's a page that obviously has plenty of people looking up to them for guidance and they're feeding them misinformation.
