I don’t complain about my husband much. He’s a hard working man and takes care of us.
I’m gonna complain today though.
I recently got a job so that means both of us are working. He works 12s to my 8-10hr shifts. He gets to sleep solid sleep when he goes down. (Meaning he doesn’t have to wake up repeatedly.) while I wake up every hour to feed the baby through the night.
I also 100% take care of the house on my own and still manage to keep a decent attitude most days. (I thought he’d step up and help pick up but nope)
I don’t know I’m just tired of feeling like I’m not tired “enough” because I don’t work 12hr shifts like he does. I get my 40+ hours just like he does. Im just as tired as he is.
I feel like I’m all over the place but I just needed to vent. I’ve been busting my ass at work and at home and feel it’s unrecognizable. 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t know. Thanks for reading if you did lol

My husband works 10 hour shifts and an hour drive each way. Im a sahm. He still helps out when he’s off work. Your husband should be helping. I’m sorry he’s not 😔

I didn’t mind it so much when I was home but now that I’m working we’re gonna have to have a talk about what’s expected from the both of us on this new adventure. I thought he’d just kind of know and do it. I should know better than that by now lol

Girl same! I only sleep 3-4 hours a night but it’s broken up sleep. (He usually gets 4-5hrs a night but solid) plus the house and shit. I just am feeling under appreciated I guess.

Sounds to me like your doing all the work of a stay at home mom while working I wouldn’t put up with that when we both work we split the duties when I don’t work I do the majority and he helps out a little

Honestly it's perfectly help to vent but I would say something. Of not resentments will surely build up over time and that will only make the situation worse in the long run.

Definitely tell him how you feel before it gets to the point where you get pissed and snap. Don't hold it in. 💜

Yeah I gave him his chance to prove me wrong and just do it. But I’m gonna talk to him about it on Sunday cause I’ll run myself into the dirt if I keep up what I’m doing

My hubby works 65-70 hour weeks sometimes more. I work part time 20-30 hours a week, plus I watch my nephews when I'm not working.
Even though my hubby works long hours he still helps me around the house when he can.
Have you had a conversation with your husband about helping around the house? Sometimes men are just clueless and it doesn't naturally occur to them that a house doesn't magically clean itself.

I’m gonna have a talk with him tomorrow. I thought maybe he would but I should know by now lmao.

My husband and I both work full time. We both contribute to the upkeep of our house and taking care of our son. I’d be pissed if he didn’t help. Try talking to your husband about how you feel.
