So I have a big “no solicitation“ sign on my front door, yet the same three girls from the LDS church come once a week knocking on my door… I never answer.
So I hear a knock on the door, and I look out the window and see them. I answered the door and let them say what they wanted to say… I took the pamphlet they offered me, and then I said “This is wonderful, my wife and I can’t wait to join you soon!”.
They looked horrified. 😂. Look, I’m sorry… But if your religion doesn’t allow homosexuality in your church, then that is definitely not for me. I called my husband to tell him, and he wasn’t too pleased with me… He doesn’t care for confrontation. But, I can almost guarantee those girls aren’t going to be coming to my house anymore knocking during naptime. 🤷🏼♀️🏳️🌈❤️

I actually have a story to tell you. One day I believe it was last year, one of the church ladies also came to our door. My boyfriend answered the door and they gave him a paper and they asked my boyfriend if he believed in god? I couldn’t believe he said he believed in the devil. They were shook! And again the lady asked him if he believed in god and he said yes but I also believe in the devil. And the lady had told him to pray because of what he had said. They ended up leaving right away! I was pretty upset of what he had said especially since I go to church with my daughter every Saturday. But hey! They never showed up again!
So my sign tells them I’m a lover of Jesus and already affiliated with Church we are a one income family so we’re not buying anything and unless they’re willing to bring wine and take the kids don’t touch my door and it’s worked like a charm!

That is so true! Someone above mentioned getting a sign that says no religion or politics solicitation- I’ll have to get one
I had a dont wake the baby sign in my door! Worked at better than the solicitation sign. Who wants to deal with an angry mom and screaming baby?! 🤣
Right! I was going to get one similar but then read a story about how people who were in the sex trade knew a child was in the house because of a sign. Got me all worried.
I have a chihuahua- I should add a “be aware of dog” sign 😂
I really need to get a no soliciting sign too. I have someone coming up to my door probably once a week either trying to sell me something or try to talk to me about their church. I ain’t interested in either. 🙄

Oh my God, this last government election season was brutal… My door was constantly knocked on.
I’ll have to upgrade to something like that.
I thought about putting something up that said something along the lines of “sleeping baby”, but then I saw this horrible story about these people who broken to take the kid, and they only knew the child was there because of that sign.
I’ll need to get something that just states no religious or political solicitation.
My fil answered the door in just a towel once for them 😂😂😂.

And my dad sat on the front porch cleaning his guns with an open beer, a sign that said trespassers will be shot and survivors shot again (my dad doesnt drink alcohol ever)
@jennatess absolutely I agree. I dont believe there is a god per say but something bigger then us is out there for sure.
@no062014, I just think we all should just live in a world where we except everybody him, and love everybody. You know, “treat others like you’d like to be treated”. 😅.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
