Mommies out there what do you do when going to the beach with a baby in a diaper? Like do you go with a diaper? Or only swim wear how would that work if they poop ? I have never done this help!!!

I agree don’t overwhelm yourself. The first trip is a learning experience. Definitely sun block and sun glasses. The sun can damage skin and eyes especially in children. The water magnifies the sun too.
Hopefully she doesn’t eat sand but it does happen.
Regular diaper in the sand. Swimmer in the water. If you use cloth diapers you’ll need to buy cloth swimmers.
Either way you’ll need something to hold the poop in.
@verguinia, hahaha true. There’s a lot to potentially stress about. Umbrella, sun hat and sunscreen and hopefully she won’t like the way it tastes. Go get yourself some smiles and vitamin d!
Yes swim diapers for swimming but be forewarned that they are not meant to absorb urine. Their purpose is to keep poop contained and not to absorb pee or else they would be completely waterlogged when coming in contact with water. Use regular diapers until you are ready to play in and around the water. They also make cloth swim diapers
I have cloth diapers at home that look like bathing suit can I use those
@verguinia, maybe, but I’m not familiar enough with them so I wouldn’t personally. I’m just not sure if they’re designed to hold up when completely saturated. For everyone’s health it is very important that fecal matter is not spread in the water.

And after they absorb 40 pounds of water they will bust open in said water
Keep them in their diaper while they swim
I just used regular diapers unless I put them in the water then I’d change them to a swim diaper
