Yes pregnancy is hard, toward the end you are miserable but do you know what’s worse?

Seeing your baby hooked up to monitors, watching them feed through a tube, watching them struggling to breathe, not being able to pick your baby up without a nurse handing them to you, having the walk out the hospital doors and leave your baby behind.

Self induction is dangerous. Be a mother and put your child first. Put up with those last few weeks of misery and don’t be so fucking selfish.

100% gem. The twins were premature, nothing prepares you for a premature baby let alone two! And Aiden was a week over so I’ve been at both ends of the scale! Yes it was torture being so swollen and uncomfortable but not half as bad as seeing your baby in an incubator! Some people are just self centred xx

I don't get what your point is? Drinking castor oil, riding dick like no tomorrow and eating so much curry that i burnt a new asshole followed by using a plunger to force him out did me the world of good 🙄

I completely agree. Although he wasn't particularly early (38 weeks) it was worrying to be told there may be a chance he would need to be taken to SCBU, I can't imagine what those must go through having babies in neonatal or special care.

Well said 👏👏👏👏 I hated having to be induced at 36 weeks, I've never been so scared in all my life. Can't even imagine having a baby any sooner. Twats. X

My eldest is a 25 weeker and I think if someone asked me how to induce themselves before 40 weeks I’d throat punch them🤷‍♀️

I agree! My son was 5 weeks early and it horrible seeing him so poorly. I’d give anything to have had him on time. People like that make me sick!

I have had both went one week over and let him come on his own, I did use my ball a lot and go for walks but it was for my comfort not for labour. Then my little miss was 10 weeks early and it is the worst thing I have ever experienced in my entire life! @mrsbodell, put it perfectly about having a baby in NICU!

I never thought it would happen but it did and I would give anything to have cooked her longer and not have her fight for life the way she had to

I went 10 days overdue and my son was 9lbs 13 and they said his cord was one of the healthiest they'd seen as it kept pulsing for 5 mins after he was born. It goes to show that even though I was miserable and could have booked in to be induced I never did. Put up with the misery and let your body give birth when ready! (Unless for medical reasons ofc)

I honestly hate seeing people complain about "still being pregnant" before their due date. The uncomfort only lasts so long and it's worth it to see that little baby healthy and happy!
