I swear the anti-spank moms act like we’re punching our kids in the face 🙄 or do like the old days “go get a switch”. I do one swat on the butt with my hand, and I promise it hurts me emotionally more then it hurts them.
I spank my kids when needed. I will not have a little brat so yes, their little butts get a spanking when they act out.

i also believe in age appropriate punishments. and different children respond to different things. you CANT use the same method on all kids and it work. correcting your child is NOT a black and white subject such as oh you spank its abuse.

@oxmegrdxo i get so tired of people saying spanking is child abuse or telling people how to parent. i spank all my kids and people are forever telling me how good and well behaved they are. guess what? its cuz they have active parents who discaplen them when they act out.
Spanking is not child abuse and those moms who think it is stop judging everyone else. I take away toys and stuff and reward food behavior
i also ground and use time out and take toys away. i reward when they do good and i correct them when they have done wrong.
Same!!! It’s not like I ONLY use spanking as a discipline. People are just far too sensitive when it comes to others parenting choices.
