So my lovely husband 🙄, says when a man gets home from work he shouldn't have to watch his own children while I cook. He shouldn't have to do anything because he works. So who here agrees with this? I sure dont
Honestly if I was a stay at home mom I wouldn't care. I am willing to do anything if I could stay home. My husband helps though, I am usually finishing up dinner by the time he gets home. He gets our drinks and sets table. we both work and our daughter is old enough and independant so she plays or watches a show before dinner. I would expect him to help with the baby when he comes.
Sounds like my husband and it makes me so mad it’s ridiculous!
He also believes that most men don't watch their kids when they get home from work lol🤣
He helped make that baby/those babies so he has an obligation to help. Regardless of his dumbass opinion.
I'd say a cool down time is okay but he already gets that time driving home.
He didn't want to help take care of his kids, he should've wrapped it, imo.
I agree completely lol. Yeah he gets a break in the car then he stays in the bathroom when he gets home, sometimes a half hour. So that's his break
For me it depends on what time of day it is .if it’s late at night (11-12am) i try not to let him do too much but my daughter should be chilled tf out. If it’s like mid day . Idgaf . I will straight ignore them and do what I’m doing because it’s for him/them in the end and our daughter is self sufficient for most of whatever she wants.
Screw that! I work more than my husband. He doesn't give me a break when I get home. If he wants to eat he can either help with the kids or he can cook!
Throw the whole husband out and start over.
I cook hours after mine gets home and mine will sit there while both boys are up my ass pulling dishes out of the cabinets untill I flip out and he comes over and grabs them 😂
Well we have a tiny ass kitchen in this condo. Enough room for one person. I go nuts when I'm doing things in kitchen and all the kids go in there, especially if I'm using the oven and stove top
I think having a break when he gets home is reasonable. half hour to unwind by himself. you're not wrong though!
I let my hubby get comfortable and kinda get out of “work mode” & usually if I haven’t made dinner for him already he spends time with our daughter while I make something for him.
No ma'am. If he wants food... he can watch his kids while I cook. Other wise.. he can eat cereal every night.
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
(Thread Closed) Nighttime feedings
So I got this awesome bottle warmer that has a cooling chamber so you don't have to go to the fridge for a bottle. My husband told his co-worker about it and she asked why we needed it if I'm going to breastfeed. He said its for when I start pumping so he can help with feedings at night. She then said he shouldn't have to get up and help because I don't work.
stay at home wives/moms do you agree that our spouses shouldn't help around the house or baby because they work? I feel that we're in this together but my mom made the comment that my husband works and he shouldn't have to stay up with the baby

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
Wow. I don’t even honestly have words for that. He sounds like a real piece of work.
