I wonder if my Dr will strip my membrane tmrw. Before yall start saying it won't help, I've been dilating a cm every week and if she's going to come this week I'll be 37w she will be full term so it's ok! I just dont need her coming while I'm out and about taking care of things for my other kids I'm literally doing EVERYTHING alone!! *years ago they considered 37w full term, they just keep changing the damn weeks*
No he just big eyed lol but thank you I'm praying I can! It will be hard but it will get done. Just tired of having contractions and it's not the real thing/consistent enough
@gion.92 yeah sounds like me I thought I was having real ones with my son and went to the hospital two different times in the same day they finally kept me the third time 😂
Lol and I live right by a hospital but I'm not delivering there. If I go and I'm in labor they wont send me to another hospital so I'm really tryna wait til it's the real thing i gotta 25 30 min drive
Sometimes 4cm but for sure 5cm they consider that active labor. Depends on your Dr
If I go past this week I will scream . I’m soooo agitated! I have a appointment tomorrow’s
I hope we both get good news cuz I'm damn sure hoping when they check me im at 3 1/2 or something I have to be man she's so low and I've been having toooo many painful contractions. Too hot for this belly!
They need to do something to me ! I’m miserable as hell and I hurt so bad 😓😖
I can't believe you havent dilated not even a finger tip! You may be going the whole 40 girl! My 1st came at exactly 38w 6lbs 8oz
Idk my doctor wouldn’t do a strip on me til 39 weeks when she considered me full term. I think doctors vary. Some say 37 others say 39.
I can't remember if last pregnancy she did it at 37 or 38, I think it was 37 cuz when she checked me at 38 it didn't do a thing so I got induced at exactly 39w and im trying to avoid that. I've been progressing pretty good, baby is huge and healthy so my Dr said if she comes this week they will just let her come
Full term pregnancies
Are doctors really still telling people that 37-38 weeks is full term???? ACOG and SMFM both define full term as 39-40 weeks. 37-38 is term. 41-32 is late term. Babies born at 37+ weeks are almost always just fine but there are clearly researched benefits to going to 39-40.
My dr considers 37 weeks full term & says that the baby is ok to come anytime after 37 weeks so I’m listening to her 🤷🏼♀️

I just have to put this out there for some of these moms who bashes girls who are 37 weeks and trying to start there labor now if you can clearly read it saids that 37 weeks is considered full term 🙄
Is 37 weeks considered full term?🤔
Is 37 weeks considered full term pregnancy?
When I got mines stripped with my son I had him like two days later 😁, my friend on the other hand had to go through it twice but that's probably cause the doctor didn't do it right I'm assuming, me on the other hand started cramping immediately after sitting up 😭
