Is 37 weeks considered full term?🤔
@mommyofaqueen thank you doll hang in there your almost there. I know I felt like I'd never get to this point and now that I'm here it feels like 34 wks was yest ❤️
@mamabearof2girlsnaboy, Congrats! I have 3 weeks until I hit 37 Weeks
Yes my doctor said at my appointment well 37 weeks monday starts full term!! So excited 💖
@cowboyrancho671, I was also getting those shots and my doctor takes me off at 36 weeks also
I don't know if it is but my dr will be stoppong progesterone shots at 36 weeks and it lasts a week each shot. So they aren't concerned if baby comes at 37 weeks I think it depends on your doctor also
@mommyofaqueen, you can get it from any grocery store it’s hot tea
@saniaha, I heard about that but don’t know where to get it from
@mommyofaqueen, okay good and I herd raspberry tea helps too ima try that too
@saniaha, I think that’s imma do everyday from now on
@mommyofaqueen, try walking..or walking up some stairs
@wheelercharle4,Every time I had a contraction with my son his heart rate would drop but they never gave me a c-section they just induced me I was having contractions but couldn’t feel them
@saniaha, See I’m not anything😂😂😂
I think it depends. 37 weeks may be close enough to full term that a baby wouldn't be considered a preemie, but it's probably still too early to induce without a severe reason. My son came at 38 weeks and was 9lbs, so at 37 weeks he probably would've been okay. It all depends on your cycle, too. My cycle was shorter than the usual 28 days so my due date was probably later than it should've been, but all the calculators use 28.
My doctor says it’s full term
@mommyofaqueen, I’m 34 weeks and 5days and already 2cm dilated and 50 % effaced
@mommyofaqueen Nobody really knows, I just never dilated. My contractions were every 2-3 minutes, I was there to be induced, but my water ended up breaking on its own right before the suppository things they use to prep the cervix were put in, but then I just never did progress. My bp got way too high because of the contractions and my daughters heart rate kept dropping so it just wasn't a good idea to wait out progression, although I really wanted to.
@wheelercharle4, So what made you unable to dilate cause I don’t want a c-section
@saniaha, Right mine told me the same
@mommyofaqueen I think my daughter had decided she wasn't coming out no matter what unless we cut her out of there. I was in labor for 36 hours and never dilated past a 2. I was so flipping miserable by the time they finally decided I was gonna have to have her by c section. 😂
@mommyofaqueen, I swear cause my doctor told me if I make it too 37 weeks I can try too make him come
@saniaha, Exactly everybody’s doctor is different some people doctors just want the money some actually do they jobs
@mommyofaqueen, girl yes everybody doctors is different soo what ever your Doctor told you girl then that’s that idc what nobody else say beside my doctor lbvs
@wheelercharle4, I’ve never went to 38,39,or 40 weeks so I’m confident she’ll be here soon unless she’s not like her brothers and got a little to comfortable in there lol
@saniaha, Yeah that’s what I was told to
@aengs2 I was a little off on the weeks but I knew my ob had said something along those lines. It's all so confusing anymore. 😂
@mommyofaqueen They could have also been off on dates, too. I just have faith that when my baby comes out he will ready lol. Some people carry to a full 40 weeks and the baby still has to go to NICU, so it really just depends on how healthy mommy and baby are.
My doctor told me 37 weeks is full term
@mommyofaqueen, It's a newer definition I guess. ссылка
@aengs2, @wheelercharle4, Yeah I’ve never heard of either one of those being full term lol just being honest I had my son at 37 Weeks and he didn’t have to stay in the hospital because I was full term but I don’t know maybe it’s different some places
I think it's early term.. My doctor says 37-38 is early term, 39-40 full term, 40+ post term. I've been shot down for saying that on here before though 😂 however, if term is in the title it is term none the less.
My OB said 39 weeks is now considered full term.
@mamabearof2girlsnaboy, This is the slowest pregnancy I’ve had😂😂
