Had autumns birthday party yesterday. She LOVED the bounce house water slide with the pool attached. It was just family but still plenty of people, love and gifts for her. She loved her cat themed party but did NOT like being sang happy birthday.. She started screaming and freaking out so we stopped after the first verse and just let her blow out her candles and she actually tried really hard to blow them out so I helped her a little. She loved all her gifts and one of the ones we got her was a weighted blanket (4lbs, what is recommended by her therapist for her weight) and she slept under it last night! She really likes it so far! I was worried she wouldn't Care for it at all. Weighted blankets are recommended for people with certain disabilities such as anxiety and autism. So I've been wanting to get her one to try because she has a hard time at night and being autistic I thought it might help but they are pretty expensive so we waited till her birthday to get her one. We Also got hazel a blanket (not weighted) so she wouldn't feel left out and she loves hers too! Its super soft and lightweight since she likes to put them over her head to sleep. Its 100% bamboo cotton. Autumn only had 3(I think) melt downs during the day yesterday which is awesome! She had A good day! She was Sooooo excited about her cat dress and the cat balloons! Which are still all over my house lol I'm just really glad she had a good birthday party/day. Now I can't wait to just relax on the 4th of July and spend her actual birthday at home with her, plus my hubby gets off on the 4th at his new job! First time ever that he'll be off on her birthday. I'm really happy about that! 😍

Omg happy early birthday and thank you! It really has! In December I'll have a 3 1/2 year old and a TWO YEAR OLD!! like how is hazel already adjust 2?! I just had her yesterday! Lol

Autumn is autistic? what da heckk. when did you find out? we just got an official diagnosis. happy bday to her! almost a month for my son till 3

yea I'm not sure/familiar with what all a "normal" 3 year old should know but she's almost 3 and can count to 10, almost count backwards from 5, and can identify a number that is written even out of order, knows all the colors of the rainbow plus black, white, brown and pink. And knows quite a few shapes and is starting to sing the alphabet song and can identify a few letters written. and yes, exactly! Her last eci appointment is Tuesday. But my youngest is also in eci for delayed walking and speech. She's about to be 19 months and just this month finally started walking. but they have the same therapist so we can continue to work with autumn after her last appointment, during some of hazels appointments. They also have a program called the hope program where they work with kids that are over 3 but it doesn't offer as much as eci does.
