Who else has tall skinny kids?
This is my 10 year old in an 8 slim from justice. She really needed a 6 slim in the waist but the 6 and 7s showed booty cheeks so that was a no! The 10 slim she could fit both arms down the sides with room and they fell right to the ground. So we decided to get the 8s because they at least stay up even though she can fit her arm in there and the length was ok. 🤷🏻♀️ and the shorts with the adjusters looked like a parachute and were so big on her legs certain movements and you could see her underwear. No winning! 🤦🏻♀️

I have this struggle with my 7 year old she’s not overly tall tho just super skinny and anything that fits her waist size doesn’t fit on length 😩
That’s how my oldest is. He will be 11 soon and he could still fit in 4T shorts but they are way to short on him.

I bought her 7S shorts and still had to use the adjustable waistband. I bought the Bermuda shorts style so I didn't have to worry about them being short!

This is the style that works best for her. They come in alot of different colors too. She got 2 different shades of denim. Purple. And pink ones.
@nerdymommyplus2, yea she won’t wear this style short. It “rubs her weird” lol but I can’t say much because I wont wear this length either because I dont like where it cuts my thigh so 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t think you read my post all the way through but adjustable waist doesn’t work either because the legs of the shorts are too big.
My niece has this struggle. Saftey pins are a life saver! She's too tall to still be in a 6 but that's her waist. Last year she slept over unexpectedly and was able to fit into my 3 years olds clothes
I would have to safety pin the waist and the legs though and that seems excessive. Plus with how active she is I would be afraid she would get poked.
Why Did She Get a Helmet for Biking and Scootering?
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

So I’m in need of help..
My daughter keeps breaking out bad.. we thought it was the laundry soap we use to wash laundry (arm n hammer) , and so we switched (ALL, and XTra) but she keeeps breaking out.. my mom made a comment saying it could be her bed... could it be? Do we gotta get her a new bed??? I just want this rash over her to go away 😩 here’s a photo of her back.. it’s also on her cheeks and chest and legs and arms.

Rant!
My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.
