Okay ladies I need potty training tips BAD 😩 my son is TERRIFIED of the toilet🤦🏾♀️ I tried so much to let him know he will not fall in , but nothing works. My second boy was the same way , but we got him out of it & he started doing good. Now my second to last is the same way , but he isn’t having it😐 I tried taking his diaper off & giving him underwear & encouraged him all that day & told him he was a big boy & all. He still had a accident 🤦🏾♀️ & now I’m trying to potty train my last two at the same time & im at a LOST because my baby boy says he has to potty , but he is kind of too short to get on the potty at our house because the toilet is too high🤦🏾♀️ any tips 😩
He never said it , but he would look terrified if I let him go while we sit him on the toilet, but now that you say that he might be scared of the flushing as well because he is also terrified of being in the tub while the water runs 🤦🏾♀️ I’ll definitely look more into it.
I would get a stool and also a toilet cover , or a potty that can sit beside the bigger toilet
Does he tell you he's afraid of falling in? I had a toddler who hated the potty and we all thought he was afraid of falling in, mom and dad included, but it turned out after months of failed attempts, that he was actually scared of the flushing sound! So I would try to pinpoint exactly what it is that scares him, if you haven't already! I've also had students who didn't like how cold the seat was, their feet dangling, having the door open, and even once, just the fluorescent lighting!
