Okay ladies I need potty training tips BAD 😩 my son is TERRIFIED of the toilet🤦🏾‍♀️ I tried so much to let him know he will not fall in , but nothing works. My second boy was the same way , but we got him out of it & he started doing good. Now my second to last is the same way , but he isn’t having it😐 I tried taking his diaper off & giving him underwear & encouraged him all that day & told him he was a big boy & all. He still had a accident 🤦🏾‍♀️ & now I’m trying to potty train my last two at the same time & im at a LOST because my baby boy says he has to potty , but he is kind of too short to get on the potty at our house because the toilet is too high🤦🏾‍♀️ any tips 😩

I would get a stool and also a toilet cover , or a potty that can sit beside the bigger toilet

I’ll definitely look into a stool for my youngest 😊

Does he tell you he's afraid of falling in? I had a toddler who hated the potty and we all thought he was afraid of falling in, mom and dad included, but it turned out after months of failed attempts, that he was actually scared of the flushing sound! So I would try to pinpoint exactly what it is that scares him, if you haven't already! I've also had students who didn't like how cold the seat was, their feet dangling, having the door open, and even once, just the fluorescent lighting!

He never said it , but he would look terrified if I let him go while we sit him on the toilet, but now that you say that he might be scared of the flushing as well because he is also terrified of being in the tub while the water runs 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’ll definitely look more into it.

I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child.
