Put my daughter in her bounchy today and she wouldn't stop crying so I picked her up and now she's fine...
This. Your baby needs you, definitely not the time to let her cry. Worry about the dependency stuff later
Crying a little is best for their development. They learn how to calm down on their own and not cry their lungs out when you don’t pick them up when they get older. I hate letting my baby cry but I usually let her for about 3-5 mins and if she isn’t crying loud enough a bit more. Now If she’s making her self stop breathing to cry then I help her out.
you can try laying one of your shirts around/beside her, it might help relieve some of her anxiety. i personally wouldn’t suggest letting her cry it out this early, they’re only this little for so long.
I have a hard time with her being this young but I also don't want her to always need to be held.
do what you think is best! the cry it out method has never been my cup of tea. have you tried babywearing? it’s not much help for things like showers haha, but if your arms just need a rest it can be handy while you get other things done!
@kaeleyjx I did with my son but I don't know where my wrap went!
She's 2 weeks old. She went from being right there with you for months and it's all she knows. She just needs her mama.
But how do I make it so she doesn't grow up always needing to be held?
Sometimes it’s okay to let them cry . They Dnt always need to be picked up
Dear Moms,
Preggie mom @njf1216 sadly posted today that her daughter Reagan Brinkley was born early at 35 weeks sleeping, when doctors discovered that she no longer had a heartbeat. Let's send her our love and heartfelt wishes, and to the other moms who have also had angel babies. If you would like to, please write a message to her on this post or send her a private message.
We are deeply saddened by her loss and are are keeping her in our hearts at this difficult time.
Warmest wishes,
Preggie...
Just curious as to how a mother is so careless with her children that her 15 year old got pregnant and has 7 possibilities for the father .and one of the possibilities , is her STEP FATHER . WATCH. YOUR . KIDS.

I love her her name is Tiffany lol

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
Honestly she’s two weeks old...hold that baby & give her that comfort of having you there. That’s all she’s wanting. You can’t spoil a newborn. They cry bc they need something, not just to hear themselves. It’s okay for her to want you to hold her. She’s brand new. I’d be more worried about her becoming dependent on being held when she 7-8+months old.
