Moms who went from breastmilk to formula any advice ?? I want to introduce formula now since ive noticed my girl not wanting to drink my breast milk.

Well breastmilk tastes way better than formula so she probably won’t want formula either! Is she refusing to nurse or just refusing pumped milk?

@arri0910, why does she need to drink more? Is she having trouble gaining weight? It’s normal for breastfed babies to only take 3-5 oz of milk per feeding. Your milk changes as baby grows and it’s richer in calories as they get older so they don’t need as much. Formula stays the same, it doesn’t change, and that’s why babies need more of it. If she’s not fussy and she’s happy with the amount she’s getting then just stick with that.

@2sweetie no shes actually doing good with her weight. I guess im just worrying since i've noticed how long she can go without a bottle. And with my fam pushing us to start food and that "omg she hasn't had a bottle in so hours " or whatever so that's why i started breaking my head these past few days. But i did also point out how she isn't crying of hunger and shes actually chubby

@arri0910, well at 7 months is when they start getting on a more consistent schedule so if she’s getting a bottle regularly throughout the day and isn’t complaining then I’m sure she’s fine. I say follow her cues and she’ll let you know what she needs. Some days my son wants to nurse every hour and other days he barely nurses at all.
Is soy formula milk better than enfamil formula (cows milk)? Im trying to be vegetarian and dont want my 3 month old drinking cows milk anymore. Would it be okay to switch??
How many ounces of formula is it ok to give my 1 month old?
???????????? I went to the restroom for just a couple minute...... My son got my daughters formula off of the counter and now its all over the floor. I want to cry. It was all I had right now. And it was a brand new can.
Lady at WIC making me feel bad cause I want to formula feed & breast feed my baby, like it isn't my fault my chubby bunny eats 2x what I produce, & I refuse to let my child starve so yes I will formula feed him. 👀😒

I slowly introduced it. A bottle a day of formula then more depending on how she did. Took a while to find a formula that worked for her. Ended up with Gerber Soothe.
