My LO has reflux..
I don't know whether this is a reason why she is doing this or not
I'm genuinely at my wit's end she does this day and night sleeping or awake.
The picture attached is the best I could get she normally meets her hands while her feet and hips remain pointing upwards.
She turns so bad the back of her head comes right down while she arches her back to the point of no return which is when I have to correct her then she gets pissed that I do.
I'm so worried that it's gonna effect her development. I'm getting no sleep cause she's doing it to the point she shifts herself in her crib and burys her face on the side ( I have a next to me so o don't know how breathable it is just under the mesh bit )
Any other mums gone through this I really need some down to earth advise gonna talk to my HV but would like something more grounded aswell off mums that have been through this xx

My little boy has slept like this from about 3 months. My partner also likes sleeping like this... Hips pointing to the ceiling while his face and shoulders face the wall. I also sleep with my head really far back, my partner says it looks like someone has snapped my neck sometimes🙄
Theo's never had reflux though so I've always just assumed it's because he finds it comfy, and hes just a weird sleeper like me and his dad.
Always worth speaking to someone if you're concerned though xx

After her bottles is she bringing a lot back up? My little girl was diagnosed with reflux at two weeks and she just has gaviscon in her bottles she would have her bottle and immediately bring it back and also she would get hiccups all the time x

She has been diagnosed with reflux she's on ranitidine x

No none of mine have ever done this duck, but I'd ask your HV or doctors if it's concerning you I believe you can get like a wedge/nest thing where you put your babys head in so they sleep upright properly x

Yes this is how I find Noah some times whether he's in bed or in his bouncer, he'll stretch his legs and arches his back and puts his head right back, scares the life out of me how far he can get his head back thinking he's guna break his neck.. I straighten his head tho when I catch him like this.. never really thought it was a problem tho just thought it's how he's comfy? X

But she does it in her sleep or awake then screams I'm frustration it ain't normal she has a slight head tilt too so it ain't helping that either she's gonna end up like a Bent up kid if something is not done x

if you've got worries I'd defo talk to HV and see what she suggests.. have u tried propping a pillow up behind her head so she can't put her head so far back.. does she like sleeping on her tummy? X

Update: she has a physio appointment upcoming so it's obviously not normal as I explained to the physio what she's doing and her reaction said it all x

Have u tried lactose free milk?? My lad suffered from colic and reflux we tried comfort milk and gaviscon n colic drops all sorts till my sis told me lactose free milk. After a few days he as a different child x
