Well, I would never say beat the dog and smh to all the people on here commenting that are saying to punch/shoot/ hurt that animal in any way.... but def take your babe to get checked out she might need a tetanus shot. The dog was acting on instinct. If the pupper isn't taught to behave otherwise this is what happens. Sorry about your kiddo. My son likes to help me apply his band-aids. That's the only way he won't rip them off.

a food aggressive dog can be extremely dangerous especially around little ones. thankfully her injuries seem pretty minor. there’s no excuse for a dog to behave like that, food aggression can and should be trained away. her dog biting your daughter is legally enough to request euthanasia, i don’t think that’s the answer, but i hope she knows that. bad dog behavior is on the owner 100% so tell her to get her shit together and train her dog before anyone else gets hurt.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the info. They put her on antibiotics for safety measures and cleaned her up very nicely. Just have to keep an eye on it put ointment on it. She's updated on shots and tetanus so she didn't need any pokes at least. She won't be going to my mothers house anymore can't trust the dog or for it to not happen again. We are very lucky she didn't do more damage. My mother took full responsibility of what happened. I told her my thoughts on it and now it is in her hands. All i can do is keep my daughter away from the dog from now on. Hopefully my mom figures something out with her to be ran and taken care of better. Time will tell all that matters is my babygirl is gonna be fine. ❤

I'd take her more for risk of Infection than anything

I hope she feels better. That's super scary. I'm glad you took her to the doctor. ☹ That should not have ever happened. Your mom needs to take 100% responsibility here. She needs to take proper measures to make sure everyone stays safe in the future. The dog definitely needs training and food agression shouldn't be tolerated but I also wouldn't blame or injure the dog. Especially if she hasn't had proper training. I hope your mom can find her a kid free home. 🤞🏻

I’d take her to the ER I’m so sorry this happen to your baby! I would of shot that dog! There is no room for aggressive dogs when it comes to children.

Doesn’t really matter if the dog is up to date with shots, she may need a tetanus because you don’t know what else the dog has had in it’s mouth. (They’re less likely to catch any kind of infection but can pass it on) x

I'd be worried about infection. When my cat bit me I didnt think much of it, but once you Google it, infection does happen a lot. She'd get a tetanus shot I think.

Omg! That is horrible. What is going to happen now with the dog? Pressure should be applied. Wiping it will just make it bleed more. Is the dog up to date on vaccines?

If the dog is clean and has had all it’s shots I would just say keep it cleaned and apply Neosporin and a bandage and she should be okay
