Has any other moms had to throw a fisher price rock n play out due to the recall and what would be similar to it as my son loved it

I love mines definitely not throwing it away ! It’s parents used it safely there wouldn’t be issues 🤷🏻♀️

It's due to user error so you don't have to throw it out. You can still use supervised as long as baby is strapped in and under 3 months. I personally am going to return mine and get a refund just in case anything bad ever did happen to baby in it I couldn't hold fisher price liable. I have super anxiety about stuff like that though.

My mother in law actually just bought us this today. I was told to just watch her and everything would be fine!

We’re not throwing ours out. We’ve never let baby sleep in it overnight unsupervised. My daughter is 6 months old and won’t calmly hang out anywhere else. We just supervise her.

This was one of those things I didnt intend on getting and there was one in target on sale for like $80 so we bought it... it has been our favorite baby product we have! We ended up buying a second one to keep in our room!

It was recalled due to parents neglect not the product. Dont leave baby unattended and you’ll be fine!

If you want something similar I got my daughter a swing and it's a life savor.. she will cry to be put in her swing that might help

Just make sure that baby is harnessed according to manufacturer’s specifications
There is no reason to throw it out as long as you use it according to the manufacturer specifications. Never leave baby unattended in it

I was told I needed to get rid of it and was told that babies was suffocating in them or they was folding up on babies

They were all recalled so it is the same as a carseat,crib would you use one of them after a recall??? They are not safe under and circumstances... and yes I had 1 for my daughter but I threw it out instead of selling it as it was recalled/deemed unsafe

Im sorry but if people werent idiots there wouldnt be a recall on it. The whole reason theres a recall is people use it passed the time their little one is rolling over and its causing them to suffocate. Use it responsibly and properly and its a great thing. To me that recall is like the warning on all irons that says WARNING: Do not iron clothes while wearing them or the stupid ass warning on peanut jars that says WARNING: Product contains peanuts.
