So question. Right now baby A and I room share. She's only 2 1/2 months old. But I just read that you should only do it up until like 6 months.
What if you don't HAVE another room you can move them to?
I feel like it just gets a little harder the longer you wait . But it’s not gonna like mess your kid all up lol . I don’t see anything wrong with it especially if you don’t even have a choice . Definitely don’t see a need to sleep in the living room like someone said lol . Maybe if she was a teenager & needed privacy but she’s a baby, she’s gonna love every moment she gets to sleep right next to you💗 don’t stress about it !
Why is it a recommendation? I didn’t even know that... I room share but have no choice as well. We share our bed too half of the time
My friend lived at home with her mom and younger sister when she had her daughter. They shared a room for years until she was able to get on her own feet and out of her moms small house. Room/bed share as long as you feel it’s right for you and your little girl.
My youngest isn’t able to have his own bedroom yet because of his medical conditions. He has his own little space in our bedroom. I was inspired by Pinterest, and it works out well for our family. Look up “nursery in your bedroom” on Pinterest.
You don’t have to. It’s just a recommendation. Just do what works best.
We transitioned my son to his own room at almost 2 1/2 because we coslept. He definitely loves his own bed now
my daughter is still in my room in her crib , i stead of in her room with her bed .
My sons about to be one and we still share a room. We were supposed to close on our house months ago and he would’ve went to his own but we still haven’t closed yet so he’s still in with us . I honestly thinks it’s better to do it until after they’re one . Lol I dont see what the rush is 🤷🏻♀️
Well we had no choice to share a room until 18 months ....
Then she started sleep walking so i kept her in our room until about age 3
Kynzleigh moved into her sister's room once she weaned from breastfeeding. We do have an open door policy and the kids are allowed to come into our room if they need to.
They mean that it should be done for a minimum of 6 months. It’s safer in terms of sids and whatnot. It’s definitely not harmful though. I feel like in other cultures it’s very common for families to sleep together. Both of my kids are in my room.
We move them to their own room around 2 months
@lexi.and.auri, we’d take the living room as our bedroom and give the child the bedroom.
My daughter slept in our room till she was almost 4 because we only had one bedroom apartment
@lexi.and.auri not at all. Even when we transitioned her to her own room when we moved she was so excited. She had her own bed in our room so I think that helped.
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Delivery room
Who all are you having in the room with you while giving birth?
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Putting baby in room?!?
When did you (or do you plan) to put baby in his/her room after sleeping in a bassinet in your room? DD is almost 4 months old but I still don't feel comfortable putting her in there yet! :-/
I can’t stand when you ignore a man’s cat-call & they be like “iight F you! You ugly anyway” lmfao like weren’t you JUST trying to bag me🤔 please tell me I am not the only one this has happened to?! Is this only a NY thing? Lmao
My kids still sleep in our room, usually in our bed, at 2.5 and 1.5. I love how close in proximity they are. Cosleeping has some very positive effects!
