So Tommy keeps gagging no matter what I feed him. I'm trying to keep it as smooth as possible but he just gags so much that he sicks up anything I've fed him 😫 any advice?

I tried Morgan about 6months and he wasn't ready. He showed a few signs but has no interest or idea what to do with it so I stopped and tried again when he was about 7months. Was much easier. Are you using the baby flavoured porridge which is smooth? I started with those. If not maybe just try again in a week or 2.

Perhaps give boiled veg he can just hold and suck on like a boiled carrot or broccoli he might prefer that over the purée, it does get some getting used to for them don’t worry too much they soon woft it down xx
What about choking though? I'm completely new to all this 😂 and yeah I'm trying to not worry so much it's just i can see now that he barely wants his milk and always wants food when we have it but he just can't seem to get over his gagging! Xx
@kelseysym, if your worried about chocking I’d start with a nuby nibbler they are handy! It is normal for

Maybe he’s not ready some babies aren’t ready until 6 months old. Both of mine started on purées at 6 months and solids at 7/8 months once she had teeth xx
It's just so weird cause he's showing all the signs of being ready he tries to grab any food we have and opens his mouth when I get the bowl and spoon out but I think he's just got a really strong gag reflex! I only started all this about 2 weeks ago and he's 6 months in a few days so I've no idea. Just going to keep trying 😂 xx

Oh hun my boy was the same. Its just that some kids have a really sensitive gag reflex. I would offer him little bit by bit for him to get used to the textures. My son used to throw up everything but now hes eating normal solids like bread or chicken xx
Oh well at least I know I'm not alone! 😂 it's doing my head in I spend loads of time making him purées and things and he just sicks it all up so much that I ended up just giving him a bottle of milk cause he's hungry and gets agitated! I'll have to keep trying some of the stuff I'm giving him is practically ad smooth as milk and he's still gagging 🤦♀️ xx
He's 6 months in a couple of days and he was 9lbs 13 when born and he always shows interest when we are eating so I'm sure he would be? 😫 Xx
@kelseysym, have you tried him with the porridge? Just give him a few spoonfuls and make it more runny maybe so it's not so think?xxx
@mummyto2tinyhumans That's all I've managed to give him the past week and I tried giving him peach puree and banana puree which he wouldn't keep down and now just tried sweet potato which he just gagged up 🤦♀️ xx

Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill?
He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over...
So when he gets kinda fussy I'll give him his pacifier to calm him, well he has a love/hate relationship with it and if he's really mad and I give it to him he will purposely gag himself with it! He's such a character.

I started with purée and added formula milk to make it really thin, i did sweet potato, parsnip, carrot, broccoli, avocado, apple, pear, peach plum and banana xx
