It’s really hitting me that my daughter will only be 10 months when her little sister is due
It hasn't hit you yet lol!!! JK lol! I felt bad with my girls being 2 yrs apart so I know how you feel but from the time she came home it's been all good. Girl my 4 year old has always been a great helper and loved her baby sister to death. Just keep telling her that this is her baby and she'll be ok. They are VERY close but they'll be ok.
My daughter will be exactly a year old on my due date... 😭
Congrats mama ! I’m so nervous and anxious to see how my daughter will adjust 😩 so I can imagine how you feel
I'm not going to lie it's hard, really hard. Make sure to get a routine down as quickly as possible though and you'll be fine. My two IT's adore each other. As they've gotten older they get into their share of spats but they're settled quickly and right back to best friends. I love it. The only suggestion I could make is a baby carrier. It was amazing being able to keep the baby close and chase after my toddler. You won't keep baby weight on for long with them😂
Thx for the advice thank god my baby girl is getting settled into a routine so I think we might be ok once Zoei gets here .
@tericah2013 anytime. If you ever need to chat just message. You'll do great. As hard as it is, there's just as much fun. I have a pair of pranksters so that may change in another decade but the laughs never end. Congratulations on the double girls. Two divas to spoil ❤
@lacondesa my daughter has two parents who both can still give her attention even with a newborn baby
You wasted no time 😂 my oldest two were 11 months apart it was just like twins
You will be fine mama! My daughter will be 3 years old on May 22nd and my son is due June 12th!
Im in the same boat but my daughter will be just turning one when i have her sibling 🤤
You’ll have your hands full but you’ll adjust. That’s what us mommies do. 🙂
You don't feel any guilt that all your attention is shifting to the new baby and your 10 month wont get as much?
Kids don’t need undivided attention constantly. At 10 months old her baby is becoming more independent and doesn’t require her constantly. Newborns sleep a lot so there will be plenty of time for her other child. She shouldn’t feel guilt for having another child.
That's kind of rude for you to say. Shes obviously feeling bad as it is and then you say something like that. You're not helping much.
@joeywiththegoodhair yes that’s how I felt the guilt came in cause I feel like she’s still a baby having to adjust to a new baby , but my husband and I will make sure they all get the attention they need !
@tericah2013, yeah parents usually always do! It’s possible. It’s when folks start having a ton of kids all at once is when kids start getting left out 😂
You’ll do great.
@joeywiththegoodhair, oh this is my last one for sure 😂 & thanks ❤️
