Had to say goodbye to my Rayray today. I hope we gave him as a good a life as he has given us over the last 15 years. My dad and brother built him a coffin and he is now in my grandparent’s garden with their dog, Molly, and my aunt’s cat. ❤️ Very hard to say goodbye, and I don’t know how I’m going to explain to Isabelle where he is the next time we visit my parents’ house, but I think she knew his time was coming as well. Last time we visited she just rubbed his belly and said “Poor baby, don’t be sad.” 💔 We all knew his time was coming, but it’s something you can never fully prepare for. He was very much a member of the family like all of us humans.
